"Unknown" on caller ID. Disconnected when answering machine picked up

daily harassing phone calls

they call several times a day - pre-recorded message starting off with Attention florida customers - etc
press 1 to connect to rep, press 2 to be removed from list.  they never remove. they just switch numbers and continue calling - when i connect to the rep - it is National energy coalition but i believe they go by many different names.

I do not even have FPL. I live in North Florida and we use JEA (Jacksonville Electric Authority).  These people call my home at least 3-4 times a day. I block thier number and they start using a different number.  I have spoken with them 3 times and declined their offer and when I ask them to stop calling me they hang up!  Someone please find out who these people are!

I've rec'd two calls from this number and both times, I've answered and no one has said anything.   I only used this cell phone for FL Power once - when I called because our electric was out for over an hour last year!

A different company called Southern Energy Managment has this posted on their web site.  "We don't do telemarketing. If you received a call attempting to schedule a "free home energy survey" - please be aware this is NOT our company, but a company in Florida doing business as "Southern Energy Solutions." We have filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General."   Good!   I hope they put these b*****ds out of business!

This number called me on 11/9/10 (yesterday). I did not answer because I suspected it might be the same "energy survey" scammers that have called me from a bunch of other numbers over the last few months. Reading here, it looks like I was right.

They seem to be using a bunch of numbers - always the same message. I get a call almost daily from these on my work cellphone which is on the do-not-call registry. They use a variety of phone numbers, but always the same message.

These callers have nothing to do with Florida Power or any other legitimate company.  They are calling to set up a free audit by an unknown company in order to get you to buy their solar package.  They say you will save tons of money on electricity and get a credit. In the state of Florida, all such monies are being held up by the legislature and probably will never be paid.  So there are lots of folks in that state who got scammed by this, or a similar company, and are out thousands of dollars with no recourse.  Moral of the story:  NEVER, EVER, BUY ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE, FREE OR NOT!!!

I get a call a day from a recorded message talking about saving energy and taking advantage of the government's incentive program. It is getting very annoying, but since most of us have a business relationship with FPL, I suppose what they are doing is legal. It won't make them any friends.

I'm on the do not call list but I keep getting calls from this number and when you try to call back nobody ever answers and the voicemail is full.

Call me twice yesterday no voice mail and call back and mail box is full.   Some one please get address and contact info so I can blast them with a legal suit.  We need to get a copy of there do not call policy.
