This is FH Patient Financial Services. This department helps out patients after they have been billed for services that were provided. They help out with any insurance issues, payment plans, financial services, care issues, etc. If you recieve a call from them I would definitely pick up or atleast call back. Most of the time it is about an insurance issue that needs to be resolved or an update on the account.

Of course you say to definitely pick up because your bill collector commission is dependent on getting people to pay. A much smarter move would be for people receiving these calls to call FL Hospital back themselves at their listed phone number to verify the legitimacy.

This is a collection agency - I get almost 5 calls a day even thought they are calling for someone else -- they still call my number and have even threaten to have me arrested for not letting them talk to mr such and such
