calling repeatedly all different times of the day and evening. fed up so I called the number back and to my surprise a female answered "hello" and not a business greeting. I asked "who is this" and she replied "thank you for calling me back, I represent the blah blah blah something police." I cut her off as politely as possible and informed her if they were looking for a purchase or donations to take me off their list as I am tired of getting called all the time. She actually thanked me before I hung up the phone. Just another waste of time. Do people really donate over the phone to anything? Suckers if they do.

Constantly calling but never leaves a message. The number block feature on the phone can't block this number either.

I got a call from 407-347-4489 at 11:12 am, Sunday, August 5, 2012.  I answered and the caller said the phone conversation was being recorded for my protection and that he was calling for the sheriff's association.  I told him my number was on the Do Not Call list and when he started to say something I hung up.  My caller ID said "Unknown Name".  My number is on the federal Do Not Call list, but not the Florida list.  I don't know if these calls for donations are prohibited under the federal Do Not Call law.  

Many years ago, I read an article in the paper that said these calls are made by firms that keep 90% of the money they collect.  To me this is nothing more than a scam so I never contribute to them.

Received call at 4pm today 8/4....FL Highway Patrol wanting donations.  Very persistent, almost wouldn't take no for an answer, so I had to cut him off and hang up on him.

Received call at approximately 11:10 this morning(saturday 8/4) I don't respond to numbers I don't know.  I wish somebody would do something about these unsolicited calls and most of them are scams.

Called @ 6:30pm Sunday 7/29..   didn't ring enough times to reach my dead end non-voice mail.

they call daily   when I answer  they hang up   or don't leave message   probably just looking for donations for something that they make up

They call and at first there is silence. Then they come on and ask who i am/

These folks are complete scammers, calling for many different contributions.Then keeping 97% of the money for themselves!

Called, answering machine answered but caller left no message.

Called home phone at 7 pm this evening - left no message.
