Got a call today from 407-406-5935 and a womans voice asked if this was my daughter (by name her name - my daughter is a teen), and this is how call went:
Caller: "Is this ***?"
Me: No, this is her mother
Caller: "Is *** there?"
Me: No, who is calling please?
Caller: "Amanda."
Me:Can I ask what you are calling about?
Caller: "Is there a better time to call for ***?
Me: No.
Caller: "O.K., We'll try again later, thank you"

I heard what sounded like typical call-centre noises in the background.  Very similar to yesterdays calls from 047-930-9732 where a guy wanted my daughters "informations" because she supposedly had "entered a contest for Disneyworld" (Not true)

Calls but never speaks. Blowing up my phone.

I called back the number and Christine (don't believe her name was Christine due to a very heavy Indian accent). Its some card service but its company policy not to tell you what card service they are until you provide your name and address. Sounds scammish to me.

CallerID says "Orlando FL".  When I returned the call, they said they were "Card Services" but refused to say WHICH company they were representing without me identifying myself, so I hung up.  They called back moments later and FINALLY admitted they were working with Aspire credit cards.  I gave them a piece of my mind about the fact that their CallerID doesn't match their company name and that their reps will not indicate which company they're working for when people call back; when the rep tried to protest that "We work for lots of credit card companies and that's why the CallerID doesn't match and that's why we can't say the company's name until you give us yours", I cut them off with this:  "Then you need to understand that until you fix this MAJOR problem, people are NOT going to pick up their phones when you call, they're not going to return your calls, and they'll hang up on you for not giving your company name.  You guys have a TERRIBLE reputation online, and it's all because you won't properly identify yourself."  And then, my VoIP service had a 'hiccup' and the call got dropped.

Just called the house right now. Nothing to identify who they are.

Phoned my brand new cell phone number on May 16, 2011.  Asked for name which sounded middle eastern or Indian.

I have also received calls from 407-406-5936 twice this morning. I have answered the first time; they just listened to me saying "Hello" three times and hung up. Then they called back and I did not pick up hoping they would leave a v/m but they did not leave any messages. So I looked up the phone # online and there is a lot of information for this phone number. It is a fraudulent number and everyone who is receiving phone calls from them should report them to FTC. You do not have to provide your personal information if you don't like. You can just report the phone # and any information you have for them. NEVER EVER GIVE ANYONE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION unless you are 110% sure that you know who you are talking to... Hope this helps!!!

i phoned the number back and told them to take me off the registry and they said they don't have my number and i also told them that i am on the do not call list and that i filed a complaint against their number and not to be called back

If everyone on this site would call the number they got on caller ID about a hundred times a day for a week I bet the calls might slow down or even stop!!!!!!!! What do you guys think???????

sugestion call 407-406-5010 asa many times as you can.Don't say anything just hang up........

I have received at least 200 calls from this Card Services in one month.This credit card was put into my name by someone else and now they are trying to collect from me.When I call the number back I always get a Non American.I know exactly where this office is located in Orlando Fla.So every one beware.The numbers are (407-406-5936,)(323-543-5010,)(347-602-9350)866-219-2430)

I got a call from these whack jobs regarding my Salute Visa Card.  They told me I was $4.00 short on my last Visa card payment !  I checked my records and they are wrong.  I told them not call call me with this kind of s*** again.
They have now called me 6 times this morning.

I receive calls from them every hour to 2 hrs. They never leave any message. Now calling the cp - That really pisses me off. I answered the phone a couple of times, once and they hang up and the 2nd time they asked me for information. I told them that they called me and obviously had enough info. Why would anyone give info to someone who doesn't give info. I just am numb to the calls now.

Aspire debt collection phone calls every morning @ 8am on home & then cell. then again @ 10 am & then @ 2pm

This call comes in on my cell phone from emerge. If you are one day late they will harass you !! Even if you pay your acct a couple of days late they will keep calling!!! Wish I never heard of them, with economy today I cannot pay it off right now and just found out I have breast cancer for the second time.

I receive multiple calls from this number a day. It is getting very old and they never leave a message. I would think this is harrasment?!?!

Got a call from them a couple of times.  No one said anything.  Now, I'm adding them to my ditch mail. (I LOVE youmail!)

yeah i had an account w/ them--things went south--couldn't afford the payments-account went to default years ago, approx.5 to 8 years ago so I'm assuming that they premiere bank are trying to collect twice since they wrote if off, times are tough and these scams will only increase I'm researching call block now!

So it is established that they are some type of credit card collection agency {EMERGE} formally Master Card.  My question is HOW DO YOU STOP THE JOKERS FROM CALLING?  It is very frustrating when you go to answer and after 3 "hello's" they hang up in your face. As most of you have said it's 3-5 times a day!  I wish I could block the calls!  Any suggestions?

The caller of this number is Emerge Mastercard.  They are based in Atlanta, GA and NOT Orlando, FL.  This is probably some rude 3rd party collector calling.  I have a card with them, which I will be paying off this month and telling them to kiss my a** afterward.  I just got a call from some rude woman with an Indian accent who asked for me by my first name only.  I said "that's me", then she said my full name to which I said again "that's me".   She never said WHO she was, only that my payment was late for Emerge.  I've been in a debt managememnt program for 2 years and she told me that I'm not on any program and I've been making payments online (so far from the truth that it's not even funny). After arguing with her for about 2 minutes, she said she would "note my account" and hung up. If they call again, they will hear some choice words from me.

A card services company won't give mw whom they are or calling for, I dang sure won't offer up my info, I don't have a Emerge or Aspire card. If they want a call back they should leave a message.

If you don't have any credit cards then go to the FTC website and file a formal complaint against them if it is Aspire cards.. Also, file a complaint with the State of Florida - somewhere they have to have a license to work in that state so I would file a harrassment complaint.  Also, I would make sure that I send an opt-out letter to the 3 credit bureaus so they cannot get your scores from the bureaus.   Yes the bureaus do sell your scores to creditors so they can solicit you - thus the junk mail and the phone calls.  Bureaus cannot give out phone numbers but it isn't hard to find them out.  Just a few suggestions - also add your house & cell numbers to the DO NOT CALL LIST - if they call you then file a complaint with the FTC - it is $10,000 per complaint when you are on the do not call list for the solicitor calling you.

OK - explain how a person such as myself, with no credit cards (I paid them off two years ago and refuse to get another), would warrant such harassment?  I have no possible business with these bozos, and I'm sick of my phone ringing constantly on the weekends (they can call all they want on the weekdays - I'm at work and can't hear it).

407-406-5936/That number has been showing up on my caller ID several times a day for weeks, and leaving no message.  Here it is 8AM on a Saturday morning, and they just called.  I finally decided to find out who the heck they are.  Glad I didn't pick up - how do you get these calls to stop?
