Ibooked back in Sept. I have not made reservations yet. Therefore I could not get a answer today (phone line kept ringing) googled this number to find this. I then called the Resource number 1-866-730-4690 let them know that this has been reported as an scam.  Of course the operator told me that, this was not the case and folks were mad because they waited after the 45 day window to book a trip and there aren't guaranteed to that because this was one of the stipulations with no refund.  He gave me another number(line) 3320 that just stayed busy and his reason was that they have heavy call volume. If I find out anything else I will post.

Has anyone booked and did not get to go on the trip? What happened?

Watch your credit calls. Unable to get answers also, however, I found a charge on my card (that I am disputing) from a travel agent. Booking fee for a trip to Australia. I did not book.

I have been going back and forth with this company since last winter. As far as I'm concerned this is a scam, and they have no intention of fulfilling their committment!

yes i also spoke to Dee. she  made it clear that no refunds will be made and had so many excuses ready (that are false by the way - like the peak fee being fair and only10% of actual price, yeah right, check the hotel website) etc. she hit us w/ 70% of original price "peak fees" (FEES is defined as 70% of orig. price now?!) & the ONE available  3/3.5 star hotel in cancun over the 4/5 star hotels in 3 diff locations that are promised as options.
i am finding out what the best steps to take are and so far i'll be:

1. reporting them to  the federal trade commission  http://www.ftc.gov/
2. asking for chargeback from my bank
3. reporting them to http://www.bbb.org

if anyone else has any suggestions please post here or any experiences to share, links etc. this is very new to me and of course very upsetting.

what is the connection with the website/fax scams? I only ever received an e-mail, no website, and heard of this through my job ("representative" came to my work place w/ the offer).

PS another number to call is: 908-397-7144 Jacquelyn Peanot (or something similar) but this is also NO HELP at all

Now the number 866-404-5945 is disconnected! I bought this vacation in Dec 2009 and they triple charged me taking over a month to refund me the mistake. Now trying to book for the last two weeks, I am told all summer is PEAK season which is an extra $299. They NEVER stated that. Finally today I am trying to coordinate dates with airfare and their s****y hotels/locations; so I go to call... disconnected! Are you kidding me? This is a joke! The people at the end of this phone are ill-mannered and ignorant... That is if you can get a hold of them!

Also CMBTT is now MBTTH I believe.

Fax Machine
We received a fax last year for this Cancun package and purchased.  Been trying to call the number to extend it.... not in service.  Tried another number on the e-ticket.... no answer.  Tried this number in this thread, been on hold for 30 minutes so far with a repeated recording.  Beginning to wonder if this is going to work either!!!!!  NOT HAPPY RIGHT NOW!

Hello,

I looked this up as well and after seeing everyones postings, I thought this was a scam and disputed the charges on my credit card.  The 407-472-3322 number was disconnected but luckily, I had an email. I sent an email and they gave me a call back with hotels to choose from.

While I hate people getting scammed, the number I contacted them at was 866-704-5945 Ext. 254        Her name is Dee.

Hope this helps for someone

Your link should be:
http://www.ispgeeks.com/wild/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=2372

Eight of us booked with a company that appears to be exactly as you've described. Each of us paid a some of $400. None but one signed papers. Three couples sent their $400 to the fourth who payed by his credit card. This was originally booked in October. We were told the original person, Lola Fores was murdered and to talk to a Jerry or TROY at a new number 866 730 4690. OR we could call Heather at 407-472-3320. As you've stated you are either put on hold or blown off, or they are out to lunch or not in at the moment...

We were going to be with family, one from Oklahoma, one from Las Vegas, two from Iowa. Now we are told we will be in different motels 10 minutes apart...Different motel and the various websites showing motels are weird- Two rooms at the Sunset Royal . You can see this hotel at the following link: www.CMBTT.com Go to the left hand side and at the bottom of the page put in SUNSET ROYAL and this should open the link to the hotel.

Two rooms at the Avalon Grand . You can find this hotel by going to the same link: www.CMBTT.com On the left hand side click on "Non Promotional" and the hotel link should open.

I told them I thought it was a scam and how could he sign an agreement for ALL of us? We wanted a vacation TOGETHER, and since there are warnings out all over about violence there taxis are NOT recommended! Also hurricane season apparently begins at about the time we are there- (we are supposedly booked for May 24-30.)

This has me really upset. If you find out anything about the Florida laws pertaining to what should be in their contract, PLEASE let us know!

Hi I just got back from my trip this friday and had a great time!!! I was like you and had my doubts about it after reading all the stuff about scams on these forums but I called the hotel and they said the I had reservations and I was all good...So if you are confirmed and you are done dealing with CMBTT then I say go on your trip and have a great time!!!!You will probably have to sit through a time share presentation for a couple of hours but it was mostly painless just mack sure you tell them NO NO NO (You will have to say it more than once but they will eventually let you go and you can enjoy the rest of your time in mexico....The time share guy told me that CMBTT was great to deal with at first but then they just started taking everybody's money..They are no longer dealing with them but will still honor there agreements they have with you..So go on your trip it is worth every penny...You need to go see the Mayan ruins at Chechen Itza they are SOOOOO Cool!!!!!!

HELP!  I am scheduled to stay in one of the Cancun All-Inclusive resorts in  a few weeks.  I am using CMBTT and Cancun Travel Now.  I am afraid I have been scammed, but when I call the hotel directly they tell me I am confirmed and that everything has been paid for.  I am very confused, but also very scared.

Tyler,

I went through the same ordeal. I booked last July and recently called them to make reservations. It's hard to get in touch with them! They are a pain.

I disputed the charge (yes it was made more than 6 months ago) tellilng my bank that I had cancelled my trip. In two days, i got my money back from the scam artists CMBTT.

Try it! Good luck to you!

I waited on hold for an hour on a toll call (407-472-3322), while a recording repeated wildly different estimated timeframes for answering my call, and then I was disconnected...and after another hour wait, disconnected again...and then after another hour wait, I'm told to wait for a call back from my "agent," who never calls. When I (stupidly) make the transaction, again on my dime, terms appear on my confirmation that are entirely different from what the customer service reps mention on the phone. I can't tell what I'm getting or what I'm paying for or if they're one and the same. Regardless of whether I ever get an actual vacation out of this or a refund, this company, which does not put its name or contact info on any of its reservation documents, is worthy of neither your trust or your money. Run, do not walk, to the nearest exit.
