PHN RANG.  ANSWERED THE CALLER.  GOT A HANG UP

I too got a call asking for husband.  When asked if I could take a message, he couldn't be reached, he hung up.  Shows as a Wisconsin number.  Tried to call it back and is not a working number.  How can we get calls from a non working number?  Suspicious, calling Wisconsin's attorney general.

My call blocker machine (I think it's Digitone) blocks these calls- the phone never even rings.
I see from the caller ID, they tried calling 3 times today. I laugh- no more of these calls get through and I used to get 20-30 a week.
I do have a business, so I can't do the "No Call" list thing.
There are many call blocking machines out there- you all should try it or check it out. No good for cell phones though.

Unfortunatly you can send out whatever ANI you want to send when calling people.  Hence, the non working number.  He told me he's the tool guy.  I could barely understand him since he talks like white trash.  He got tired of me repeating, "can you say that again".

Just got a call from this # with CID as Wisconsin #920-665-7719...Will not answer these calls..GET A REAL JOB!!!! SICK OF TELEMARKETERS!!!!!

Must be the same outfit that I did the same thing as you did...around 1990.  The stuff they sent was junk, but at least I refused to pay for it.  It was not so much a plan as it simply was how it worked out.  I could not see paying  for junk quality from a company I never wanted to hear from again.  The company was even from AZ.  I don't know if it is worth the time and trouble to do for such low quality, but it could be fun to do again.  I am not joking or making up what I said about the long ago past experience!!!

This number called our business, I answered. There was basically silence, and the the guy goes UHHH HELLO?!, and I answered again. Then he went duuuhhhh, and hung up. Sounds really intelligent.

I received a call from this number today. As i usually do if they hesitate after I say hello or ask for the owner, I immediately told him we are not interested. He got really pissed off and went on a rant about he had a job for us but we wouldn't get it since we were so rude, I told him he should get you a new number then because his had telemarketer written all over it. I sure do love it when I p****off telemarketers.

Call again and asked for my husband. Ask to take a message he said no. I told him not to call again.

Received a call from this number, however, caller did not leave a message.

Rec'd junk call from 920-665-7719 - [3:36 pm] - did not answer.

Reverse Lookup points to all-out scam selling supplies to contractors from a fake number, name, and company. Points to a wireless cell from Green Bay, WI, although from Phoenix, AZ.

SCAMMERS  I BELIVE THE GOT MY NAME AND # OFF OF CRAIGS LIST (AS I HAVE A FEW ADDS ON THERE I SELL CLASSIC TRUCK PARTS)  GUY ASKED FOR THE SHOP FOREMAN I SAID THAT IS ME HE WENT INTO A SALES POTCH ABOUT SAW BLADES AND HOW THEY HAVE THE BEST PRICE ON THE MAKET I PLAYED ALONG UNTIL HE WANTED MY TAX ID # AND NAME AND ADRESS  I CALLED B.S.   THE GIVE A WAY WAS HE KEPT CALLING THEM SAW SAW BLADES  INSTEAD OF THE CORRECT NAME SAWZALL BLADES SO I WENT INTO STUPID MODE FOR A WHILE ON THEM AS I ALWAYS DO TO TELEMARKETERS AFTER THAT I WENT INTO DIRTY DIRTY JOKE MODE I GOT REAL NASTY AND CRUDE  THE GUY CRACKED UP THEN I WENT INTO SINGING JOURNEY (FAITHFULLY IN EXACT DETAIL AND LYRICALLY CORRECT (I CANT SING GOOD AT ALL BUT I KNOW ALL THE WORDS)  FINALY  THE GUY HUNG UP........HOPE I WASTED HIS TIME LIKE THEY HAVE WASTED MY TIME MORE THAN I CAN COUNT

I SAID, NOT HERE,  I ASKED WHOS WAS CALLING, AND HE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has called several days in a row asking for my boss who works in another city. Today I said "I'll tell you the same thing I tell you every day, my boss is unavailable, but if you would like to leave a message he will call you back." He hung up. Coward....

My boss got a call from this number at the office where he was asked for by name.  I told him the owner was in a meeting (which he was) and asked who was calling.  He said something which I didn't catch and when I asked him to repeat it, he had hung up.

Yes, same thing. Asked for the owner of the company by name. Then when I said he was not in at the moment. He said "oh, well, shoot I left his cell number back at my office, could you give me the number again?"  I then said, sorry, that information is private unless you can tell me your name and company and leave a message for him. He hung up.

Same thing as Dee.  And I am on the National Do Not Call Registry, but I guess they don't care if it is a scam/fraud call.

I got a call today from 920-665-7719.  The guy asked for my husband and I told him he was not home.  He said that he would call back.  I asked who was calling and he hung up.  The called ID said it was from Wisconsin.  I usually hang up if there is a delay in responding to my Hello, but this time I was curious to see who it was.  That was a mistake.  I'll go back to my other way of answering.

When I answered the phone, no one talked but I made a comment in case anyone was listening that this was the third telemarkter called today and boy you guys must all be hungray then I said goodbye.....

These folks are located in arizona.  They use fake phone #s and fake company names to try to get a sale.  The best way to get them to stop is play along and order whatever they are selling.  When they send the order dont pay for it or send it back.  They dont have your ss# or tax id so they cant attach to your credit.  They depend on consumer honesty to stay in business.  Since they arent being honest, why should we?   I got a box of hoses from them 6 months back.  Collecter called threatening legal action, asked him to verify my tax id to make sure he was legit, he hung up.  Ha!  They dont bother calling me anymore

Asked for boss by name.  I said he wasnt there. He asked for boss cell number. Told him we didnt have cell phones just Southern Linc, he hung up.  Happened more than once. I try to return call but operator says number no good.

Just got a call at our office, a law firm, from this company.  He asked for the Senior Partner by his name.  I told him he wasn't in the office.  He then asked me "What's his cell number?"  I asked him for his name.  He said his name was Rick Ross from Industrial.  I asked him if he would know what this was regarding... he hung up on me. LOL

Didn't say hello, just gruffly asked for my boss, when I said no he wasn't here, may I take a message, he hung up on me.

Asked for the owner, when I said he was not here he said "what is his cell number?" I said what is your cell number and I will give it to him,
