got a call today from CID:  Card Services; 10/5/12  11:13am,  and one before that on 8/31  1:49p.
As soon as the recording started I picked up the phone and pressed 1 to speak to a "live operator"  who identified himself as Jose.  He said he got my number from the Credit card company and the actual company he works for is Credit Card Services at 800-255-5156.  He said the (407) number is an automated service they use.  I asked him to take my name off their list and I had to give him my name and phone number  (as soon as I did that... i realized  BIG MISTAKE!!!!)
Worse yet:  when I called the 800 number, I got a recording that says this number is not an active number and it repeated the 800 number and my phone number also.   BIG MISTAKE#2

DUMMY, DUMMY, DUMMY

These a***oles keep calling.  I reported them to the Do Not Call Registry.  They do keep changing their number.  If you press the option to be taken off the call list, they just ignore it.  However, if you're number is on the Do Not Call Registry, they're supposed to check before initiating a call but they flout the law.  The FCC should fine them big time with all of these complaints.  Not only that, I think it's a phony business too.  They're probably not licensed either.

407-476-5538. Best thing to do is not answer it. Once you answer it they know it is a good phone number and they will not only keep calling you but they will also sell your phone number to other crooked companies. I see unknown numbers and immeduately disconnect and let it go to VM.

They changed their number again  when they called me. They were card services and told me to press 1 to get connected. NO way, when you do that you could be connected to a long distance over seas number you'll be charged for, this is one of the ways these scams make their money, even if you hang up they don't care they made money by you having to pay for that call. Only press numbers of a place you know for sure (or bank etc or a number you called that is legitimate)- and again that red flag should go up when offered a big prize for a few seconds up your time. I just hung up, I hope you do to.

I told Rachel or whoever she was to go do something to herself, ala Clint Woodward at the National Republican Convention. They keep on calling, regardless of my obscenities.

The best thing people can do when they get an illegal robocall is to hang up. Do not press "1'' to speak to a live operator to get off the call list. If you do, the FTC says, it will probably just lead to more robocalls. The caller will know you're there and willing to answer, and may continue to call.

The Do Not Call list is useless.

This is a scam. Once they get your credit card, you have your money stolen.

I picked up, and immediately hung up. As soon as I hung up, the phone rang again. The caller ID said "Unknown Name" with MY HOME NUMBER RIGHT BELOW IT!

I got call from this phone number this morning.
I talked to operater to remove my number from their list but the operater said "change your phone number"  and hung up on me .
I filed a complain thier phone number on donotcall.gov.

Telemarketing firm that I repeatedly ask not to call me.

Got a call from Card Services (1-407-476-5538) pressed 1 for a representative, cursed her out really
good. Waited for a response, got none so I hung up. Who is selling this robo-call type software and who
are they selling it to? Maybe we need to pull some of the President's CIA people out of the South
American brothels and put them on the case.

This is a news link about these very people. Fell sorry for those who fell for the scam. I just let my home computer answer these calls as a fax LOL usually cuts these annoying calls out after one or two times. These "robo-dialers" seem to recognize it as fax number and quit calling. Who would have thought hanging on to an old outdated modem could come in handy.

Has anyone been able to get the name of the company behind 407-476-5538 (Rachel)?  I attempted to get it today but the operator hung up on me when I asked HER name.

I Just spoke to Angela from this Co. I asked her to stop calling me, she says "I dont care"! Then hung up on me! the Effing nerve!!!!

I just read in the news that the feds are overwhelmed with complaints about this particular illegal robocaller/telemarketer. Caller ID is either CARD SERVICES or FINANCIAL CTR.  Calls originate primarily from FL . We even received one from a mobile phone located in OR or WA.  This time I answered and started pushing random buttons to see if I could mess up their computer. I heard someone live trying to say something.  It was "Kevin," telling me that what I was doing wasn't effective.  Well "Kevin," if it wasn't effective, why did you answer the phone and say something.  I hung up.  Next time I'll blow my whistle into the receiver!  BTW, I'm certain "Rachel" is fictitious.

Received calls from Rachel and others and several phone numbers.  Always some weird noise sound and somsetimes a credit card lowering rate or nothing -- never the same.  As for the screaming about being on the do not call list -- hello -- thieves and scammers do not pay attention to lists.  They are doing robo calls for any fool that they can sucker in.  Find out where the location is and contact the State Attorney General in that state and report them.  That state has to find them and stop them.  The FCC reporting is good for if/when they ever get caught.

I am sick of getting calls from this number.  All I hear is a computer voice and it does give an option to not be called in the future, but it doesn't seem to work that way.  They call anyway.

When I got this call from Card Service, I pressed 1 to get a representative. It took many rings to get an answer from a woman with a strong African American accent but she may have been trying to disguise her voice and diction. She said her name was Tanis? Janis? Not sure. I told her that the number was on the no call list and she started yelling at me. I told her I was going to report the company and hung up. Almost immediately, I got a call form an unknown caller/number. When I picked up the same woman said "Come on, answer Mr, Badass"

I want these people gone.

I answered this call identified "CARD SERVICES".   They say they want to lower your credit card rates yet they don't even know your name and they want you to give them YOUR credit card number, saying it's completely safe.  GEEZ!

DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFO.  NOT EVEN YOUR NAME.  NO NUMBERS, NO BIRTHDATE, etc.

The reason the FTC and FCC cannot prosecute these company is because they are from out of the country.  Pakistan for instance.  For once you get an American accent that you can understand and it's a scam!

They want you to give them the numbers of your credit cards!!!   They say they want to lower the rates of our credit cards.   OMG, BEWARE!!!  Then they give you at least 3 reasons why there's nothing wrong with that AND how they can't possibly do anything with those credit card numbers.  Yeah, right!!!!!  

DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO WHATSOEVER.  They don't even know your name!!!   No telling what else they would ask you!!!

I'm on the Federal and State no-call lists.  My phone company says these calls are from other countries where the State and Federal CANNOT prosecute them.  Countries like Pakistan, for instance.  For once you have someone using an American accent (so it seems real and domestic).

This ph# has called me repeatedly on my cell and home ph#'s. They dont leave a message nor can you call back. Once I picked up and didnt say a word and it was a recorded message about my pre-approved credit card. Im also on the DO NOT CALL registry. How the heck did they get my numbers? Stop the insanity of telemarketers.!!! Annoying!!

The FCC DNC is useless. They never stop these call and they have ben going on for years. These calls will continue because these companies  make money. They target elderly trusting people, mentally handicapped people and the just plain stupid. The big phone companies profit from this somehow as well. They could all band together and stop this if they wanted to. If they can track every call that WE make, they can track these scammers.  It must really be pathetic to be a lying, thieving scammer.
