I'm getting calls from this number but not even for myself. They keep calling and an automated message asks for someone named Alexander. I've had my cell number for over 10 years so either someone gave them the wrong number or its a scam

I get calls from over 15 collectors asking for someone else--months and months and months of calls all day long.  I sent certified cease and desist letters.  I took photographs of the calls, got an attorney, notified the ftc., the calls continue.  People need to get fed up enough and call their Congressman or e-mail their Congressman to do something about this, what I call, domestic terrorism.  The only thing that stops these calls is disconnecting the phone wire.  I have read online where some people who have settled with debt collectors found charges on their bank accounts from unknown sources months later.  Don't talk to these collectors, period.  If you owe money, talk to the original creditor.

Wow...I too dislike bill collectors...but what I dislike more is uneducated persons like yourself posting on a forum when you can't even use proper grammar. Did you make it through Elementary school? Please, get an education and learn to speak English.

We get calls from this number all hours of the day and night. Very annoying and frustrating, if its so important why doesn't a real person leave a real message??    They keep calling, and if you do answer there is never anyone on the other end.  We are having financial difficulty right now as the rest of this world is,  but if its legit why wouldn't they call and actually speak and say how they can help??   I refuse to answer to these idiots,  and I would love to have their home numbers and harass them all day like they do us.

It is Pinnacle, a debt collector, and they do call from dozens of different numbers.

First they do a "skip trace"  I learned that here. A skip trace is the last phone number they have for you (or think is you) and they call it to see where you are or if you "skipped" town.  

Pinnacle, like other debt collection companies work on the "edge" of the law. When they and others cross the edge, they get sued BIG time buy people like us and/or the government.  

I sense the collection agencies know about this website, cause every once in a while, you will find someone posting guidance to call the collection agencies, work something out, they are nice.  IT'S ALL LIES!

Don't pick up the phone! Pretend to be a ghost.  The banks raped us with high nterest rates for decades and they rolled in money, and took home HUGE bonus.

When the banks bet too much money in the casino called Wall Street and got into trouble, the government bailed them out.  Who will bail us out?

That happened to me just yesterday (02-29-2012) but it came from california, not florida, got one from florida but nobody left a message, I'm getting call from coast to coast. I have no idea who they are, guess it's time for a number change. again

BEWARE!!!! They Pinnacle Group have called me and will use several different phone numbers to get ahold of you. I am told not to answer the calls so I don't. I only answer my phone if I know who is calling me. They almost scammed me, but I myself and my daughters boyfriend were way to smart for them...... THANK GOD!!!!

they call and call about 3 times aday "BUT NOT" ONCE!!! LEAVE A MESSAGE!!! But when i call the number back today June 13th-2011 they say hello can you give me your phone number i said no it is a paid unlisted number; So they hang-up on me....
I call back later then they had a recording calling them-self {Financial Group} & an repersentive will be with you then a women got on the line and the frist thing asked was that i need your phone number so that we will not have the incorrect information. i said frist who are you? Guess what >
(She HANG-UP ON ME!) this was before I was even able to finish my questions that i had.
So who do they think they are any-way!!!

When I answered nobody was there.

This number has called me a few times and this last time someone whispers just my first name and hangs up. Creepy!!!!

They call at about 6 or 7 times a day. At all hours of the day and night. I have told them that they have th wrong number but that does not stop them at all.
