Continually receive calls from this number - does not leave a message

Got a call at 3PM today from Boykin at Spinnaker Resorts offering 4 day 3 night stay at new Spinnaker resort. I told them this sounds familiar to a previous offer from them in which I said I am on national do not call list, I have no interest in your new resort and please do not call me.

Offering a 4 day vacation to some resort in South Carolina.  I said I wasn't interested and he hung up.

It's a Florida timeshare company.  I told them I was on the do-not-call list and the lady snippily informed me that I had given their number to them so they could call us.  Liar!  I didn't, of course I didn't!  Apparently didn't put me on their do-not-call list because I keep getting their calls.  Usually no one there, I only got a real person that one time.

Calls no one there when I pick up. Stop it.

guessing it's connected to timeshare.  Everytime I make reservations using my timeshare, these calls start coming in.  Just called my timeshare place and got put on a do not call list from them.

Numerous calls from this company shown on my caller ID.  No messages.  Answered a couple of times - no one there.  Just answered again this morning.  Man offered me a get-away three days with Interval International (timeshare).   As I was politely telling him we were not interested he hung up on me mid-sentence......very rude.  I called Interval International and the calls are NOT coming from them. They knew nothing about this "offer" or Gateway. Beware.

Calls me once a day almost. Got hung up immediately after I picked up. Calling from Apopka, FL.

Women said that they mail us some thing for VIP travel for 4, we never got it told them we only use our time share and hung up. this is a call we get a couple of time a month. I tried block it through my internet some how it got pass.

Another call from gateway, was not home, they did not leave a message. I am in RCU (have timeshare) and anyone wanting to sell timeshare should try not to do upfront fee/deposit. Check with BBB, internet, ripoff report before you pay money upfront. I am on national do not call list.

No one there

Received a call from "Gateway" just a few minutes ago. We have been getting a number of timeshare related calls recently. Must be blitzing because it's time for people to think about how to escape the brutal winter. Anyway, more reason to add them to our Pr0 Call Blocker.

Phone rings, I answer - often right away, after the first or second ring - no one is there. I will wait for up to 10 seconds after answering - phone sound indicates the caller has ended the call.

Received this call. Obviously a telemarketing call. No way to call them back!

It comes up on caller ID as Gateway. Never leave a message.

Called on 01/24/14 @ 02:35 PM from        Apopka, FL. Caller ID shows Gateway. We also used RCI many years ago. It's more likely that someone stole the RCI records than RCI sold their records to scammers.
This scam is either a FREE vacation, cruise or timeshare. Another possibility is they will sell your timeshare for 1/10th of what you paid for it. These calls were popular during the recent recession. As was junk snail mail with the same offer to unload that expensive timeshare you can't afford.
Ignore the calls and feed the shredder.

Rec'd call at 2:18 pm on my AT&T land line.  Caller ID reads:  GATEWAY     (I am constantly bombarded by this caller. They call all the time.  Never leave a msg.  It's been like this for years!.  And if it's related to a Time Share as some suggested above I am perplexed b/c I have never owned a Time Share.)  

Called, no message left.

I bought a digitone call blocker. It blocks any spoofed number automatically. You can block anything else either by whole area codes or single numbers. Most importantly if you place it before all phones there will be no rings at all. We have Caller ID on our TV and that would be the only thing we see.

Caller ID said "Gateway."  Received several such calls.  When answered, there is no one on the line.  

Started getting calls from "Gateway" just a month ago.  Their repeat attempts to call me again are sporatic at best.  I was interested to see that other comments mention RCI (timeshare membership).  We used to be long-time members of RCI but haven't been for the last 5 years.  We no longer own any timeshares (again, for at least 5 years).  Anyone will to do anything to make money, and it's obvious that RCI has sold their owner information to whomever is interested.  Although this is very disburbing, there's just nothing we as consumers can do about it.  I just don't pick up on any call I don't recognize.  Some of these calls may quit calling you if you ask, but the majority are so far removed from the ability to control their contact list you might as well just suck it up and ignore these calls.  They will eventually quit calling, but others will quickly take their place.  Face it, we live in a world where these calls are now part of our life.  Yippee!

same b***s*** . I'm filing a complaint wit the State Atty, General in Florida . The Do Not call list is followed by legitimate business' not these scumbuckets .

Caller ID says Gateway.  Two calls today so far with no message left on the answering machine.  Ridiculous!  I hate these calls!
