Exactly!! It's funny how these people swear it's this person and that person or this company and that company- the companies that are on the news are not the ones calling us THEIR already buried and being watched, let's really find these people, the only way I see is going through with their services and getting all the real company information and turning them in to the Feds period but a phone number that might not even prove it actually made an outbound call to you is silly. /; just need some real help here

Just a new name for an old and VERY worn out scam operation.
At least they did change the caller ID to read Willy Planchard instead of Lower Interst or Card Service now. I still didn't take their scam call.

I pressed 9 to speak to the live operator. Interstingly, when I did, I had to initiate the conversation, I started out saying I didn't need my interest rate reduced and the operator cut in and stated she would remove my name. We shall see! If they call again, I'll report them to the DNC Complaint center.

2013 just started and Turd Service started their old tricks using new names. It doesn't matter how many numbers they flip or who they pretend to be, white listing numbers with a Digitone blocker will make sure that they will never ever be able to ring through.

People, get a phone or phone service that allows you to block unwanted calls. Use call blocking judiciously. But use it. When these a$$holes realize their calls aren't going through, they will look for another line of business.
I use Ooma. I paid $99 for the Ooma Telo (VoIP router). Now, I don't have a phone bill. I pay $10/ mo. for premium features, which is optional, and $3.84/ mo. in state and federal taxes. That's it. No more phone bill, and Consumer Reports named Ooma the number 1 phone service in America two years in a row.
Also, Vonage is now available for only $10/ mo. and StraighTalk is only $15. Both are VoIP, so you have to have high-speed internet service. But, both offer calling features beyond what traditional land line telephone companies offer. And, once it is properly setup, you won't notice a difference in the quality of your phone calls.
Stop these telemarketers. Get a phone or phone service that allows you to blacklist numbers you don't want calling you.

Caller ID said the name was Willie Plancher. WRONG. It a recorded call saying they had to speak to me regarding my credit cards (of which I have none). I get these type of calls almost on a daily basis; however, this was the first time with this number and with the caller ID showing someone's name

Telemarketing Calls are slowing fading into history. There are just too many of us ignoring them with their answering machines, call blocking and even giving up their land lines altogether. Not to mention, so many apps that stop them cold on their smart phones.
The FTC is trying, but it is the American People who are adapting and the Telemarketers who are not.
