You won't find them from their number. It's a random number generating spoofer. They're based in the Orlando area. It used to be in a small business park at 495 SR 436 in Casselberry but that office cleared out after I linked their hiring ad to 800notes. I know because I worked for them for 3 days. Anyway, they're back at it. If they call again ask for Mike, Chris, or June. Shut these scammers down for good. I am posting this under the company name they put on their hand written paychecks.

I just answered this call and she said they worked for the government which allows certain homeowners to receive a $3600 credit toward energy improvements in your home.  she gave some spiel about the government wants us to not be dependent on countries in the middle east for power.  when I asked what organization she worked for, she stuttered and then said the association to conserve power.  I am sitting in front of my computer, so I entered it in while she was on the phone and nothing came up.  I told her that the organization doesn't exist and she made up something like they are an independent company so it would not show up if I looked online.  Finally, she asked me what my electric bill was and when I said it was only about $100/month, she wanted me to confirm that was all it was.  When I said we just built our house and put double pane winders, insulation foam in our blocks and a radiant barrier in our roof, she hung up on me.  anyway, I don't know what they are "selling" but it sounds like they are using the excuse that they work for the government to sell some sort of energy saving product.  Apparently they will come to your house for free if they think you can benefit from it and maybe you can get a $3600 credit from the government, but I would be cautious.  I would be more inclined to buy from someone that was upfront about what they do instead of pretending to work for the government.

I got a call from 407-712-3115 and was told it was about energy.  I told them I did not want to talk to them and that I wanted to be removed from their call list.  The young lady I talked to said she was not a soliciter and therefore they did not belong on the "do not call list".  I told her I didn't care and didn't want them to call me again.  She then said "the government had ask that they call me".  I told her the government needed to get out of my business and hung up.  Something really needs to be done about these people!  I intend to notify the local television station that does undercover on these telemarketing scams and see if they can put an end to them!

I tried reporting it on the web page people suggested - as I'm SO big on getting these people, but here's the thing... I don't answer the call.  And to report these nasty people, I have to take the call.

These folks are a complete scam -- avoid entirely !

called on my cell today though I missed it, also noticed another missed call from same number on Fri 2/17, I have set up a contact with the name of DO NOT ANSWER so if they call again I can just ignore it.

They are back at it. Called me today from 407-712-3115. Very pushy. There was an indictment of this company last year, now they are back.  Next time I am going to ask them to hold on and leave the phone dangling for 20 minutes.

what you gotta start doing is putting  the number on every thing you sign up for and dont want to give your number 407-712-3115 yeah you can reach me at that number.

The only thing I can say is for all of you to please, please report all of these to the fcc. They have an online form. We have been getting harassed none stop and I continue to report them all because the fcc tracks the reports and the more reports the better. I have done all of the attempting to ask the representatives to remove me and then began getting an automated call of which I also followed instructions to be removed and it is to no avail. The last representative that I spoke with and asked to be removed just hung up on me. I even went so far to tell them on the phone that this was harassment and the guy laughed and told me to just schedule the appointment. Everyone please report these!!!

PLEASE take the time to report them for violating the dnc list!!! That is the only way you can get them to stop. Venting on a blog will get you no where. Got a solicitation call from United Southern Energy Group about saving 50% on my electric bill and getting UP TO $3,600 from the government for a FREE energy assessment.  They made the call to my 87 year old mother.  I want these calls to stop now!!!!

This number shows up as a cell on my caller id.  I have received the same "energy efficiency" call from them.  Now, they just call a few times a day and hang up.  If I am not mistsken, this can be considered harrassment.  If it doesnt stop soon, I will take legal action.

This is the third time that I got a call from this number - same script as previously mentioned, right down to the "OK, I will call you tomorrow!" when I said that I was not interested.  They are clearly scam artists, working off a script.

got a call blocker from reno nv. google them. get 1 call and push the block 2 times. no more calls from
that number. holds 80 numbers best $100 i ever spent.

Someone keeps calling from this number and hanging up.

We received the exact same call. She was incredibly pushy and insisted she was not selling me anything. I hung up.

They called me today and would not talk

Two calls in two days. Im on the federal registry for DO NOT CALL. Someone needs an adjustment to their thought process. I'll volenteer if anyone locates this a**.

Caller was very polite, but I am listed on the do not call registry and they still called.  They were trying to get me to allow someone into my home to help me reduce my power bills.  They said it was a government inspired program.  Southern Energy Independence was the name.  I googled it and only found that they have been making a lot of push and annoying calls.  No such company comes up with a website on google.

I saw the phone call come in as "Wireless Caller" - not recognizing the number - I didn't answer. I expected my cell phone to then ring - knowing that if if was someone who knew me, they would call my cell.  Fortunately my cell phone did not ring.  I decided to do a google search.  And this page came up. SO GLAD THAT I DID NOT ANSWER... thanks to everyone above for your information and counsel.  
I hope more people become awre of this scam and that the scammers are brought to justice.  THnaks again to all of you who reported your experiences.

Call from "Cell Phone   FL" 407-712-3115.  Claimed they were "Southern Energy Independence Group" a company funded by a coalition of southern power companies.  They wanted to know if I was aware of Federal subsidies of $3600 that I might qualify for based on a quick energy survey of my home that would take about 20 minutes.  They claimed they were not selling anything and that it did not involve solar installation.  They simply wanted to advise on lifestyle changes that could save on power costs.  Smelled like a scam, and when they wanted to schedule a time when my wife would be in attendance, and they wanted to know my credit score, the smell got very strong.  Couldn't find ANY mention of this group on Google.  I decided to call their bluff and made an appointment so I could examine their credentials and photograph the representative and his vehicle.  The appointed time has come and gone, and they did not show.  I wonder how they benefit from this scam?

I too have been getting calls all the time.I spoke to a young man a few weeks ago and explained that i already have solar panels so I am not interested and to please not call and he got defensive and kept saying"IT's FREE..You don't have to buy anything" I told him to please stop calling anyway.Then I just got another call today from a young girl.After telling her not to call and that I was tired of getting these calls she snottily said"OK I WILL CALL YOU TOMORROW!" Some nerve!!Then she hung up on me.Unbelievable!!

I got this call several times this past week. Also late at night.
I am also getting a lot of uknown cals starting early in the morning and late at night
with a hang up in my ear.
