I have been getting these calls for months and now that I am on maturnity leave I am home to pick it up. The number they are calling from won't take any messages. I spoke to a person today and told them to take off our name and after telling him 3 times he hung up on me. Then while I am trying to nap after being up half the night with a newborn the machine called again. Help we need them out of business.

These same a**holes have been calling my cell phone every day for months. They call from a different number every time, but I never answer. I just cut the calls off before they can leave a message. I think they have been calling my home number too, but I don't have caller ID and they hang up when my answering machine comes on. Somebody needs to shut them down!
A different company called Southern Energy Managment has this posted on their web site. "We don't do telemarketing. If you received a call attempting to schedule a "free home energy survey" - please be aware this is NOT our company, but a company in Florida doing business as "Southern Energy Solutions." We have filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General." Good! I hope they put these bastards out of business!

We get the same calls every day, sometimes twice a day.  Every time I take down the number and try to call them.  Their "mailbox" is always full.  Never stayed on the line long enough to push any numbers.  Tried doing a Google search for Florida Power and Light to get some info on these automated calls.  We were/are on both the national do not call and the Florida do not call (which you have to pay for) and if that doesn't work there should be somewhere we can call to be taken off this ridiculous calling list.
I'd give them a blast but I don't believe it would do any good.  And all our calls come from the 407 area code and if I could talk to someone at Florida Power and Light I'd give them a blast too.
It's ridiculous that they are allowed to continually harrass people.

We have been receiving these calls for months and finally got to the point where 3 days ago I hit "1" spoke to a young women who when I started to complain hung up on me.  They called again the next day and I hit "1" again.  This time I played the role of an interested party and made an appointment for the next day (yesterday) at 3pm.  At 3:06pm a call came in which we did not answer since we knew it was from person looking for our address. Unfortunately for whoever it was that was coming, I had given them a false name and wrong house number of the same street that I live on.  We lived in a closed culdesac neighborhood so, sure enough, a minute later we saw this car driving slowly by, stopping at the mailboxes to check for the house number. I grabbed my Sig 556 assault rifle and started to open the door but my wife pleaded with me not to confront him. I hope they get the message.
Next time I am going to use a trick I learned a long time ago.  Get yourself an air horn and a pair of ear protectors.  When the call comes in the recorded message is long enough to grab the ear protectors and air horn.  When you are set up toward the end of the message, you hit "1".  The person who answers will typically be using a double headset with their hands on mouse and keyboard.  With your ears covered, aim the airhorn at the phone mouthpiece and blast away.  They won't be able to get the headset off fast enough and won't be able to hear a thing for at least a day or two.  Desparate conditions call for desparate measures.  Mac's Law.

I get calls EVERY day from National Energy Coalition.  Sometimes I have 2-3 lines ringing at the same time from them.  It is a recorded message.  Always the same and easy to recognize.  Finally today, I pressed 1 and talked to a human.  I told her that this is a business and I am on the Do Not Call list.  She had an excuse as to why they are exempt.  I told her to remove ALL of our numbers from their list.  She said that she could only remove 1 at a time.  I think that next time I will do what somebody else did.  Set up an appointment and let them show up and then throw them out on their ear.

Hello Gail,

We just received a call from them not 5 minutes ago from 561-713-7323.  Basically what happens is they send someone over from yet another named company to try and sell you an energy product such as solar panels, water saving devices, etc.  We had the police and television station waiting for them when they arrived.  In a very hasty retreat he said, "I don't want to talk to anyone."  The reporter said yes, but just think of it, if this is really on the up and up you will be getting free television advertising.  He covered his face and quickly left in his car without another word.  That in itself should speak volumns regarding their operation.  It was interesting that right after this episode about a year ago they stopped calling but have now started up again with a new number.  Hope you figure out a way to stop them!

We are getting 2 calls per night for the last 5 nights on each of our numbers fro this National Energy Coalition.  I pushed "1" and spoke to a person both times tonight.  They claim they are only appointment setters and not telemarketers.  I specifically asked them for their call back number as "I wanted to think about it."  They refused and claimed they were not telemarketers and not selling anything but I could get $3700 free from the government.  I asked them how that was possible as my understanding is that in order to get the $3700, you had to buy something.  They said, well maybe, but that is what the inspector does, he'll tell you everything.  I also asked them for their website.  She said they have no web presence.  I asked them if they were part of the National Save Energy Coalition, which does have a registered website.  She said no, they are an independant company contracted by a wind company to call.  I asked them if they are legally registered to do business in this state and they hung up.

We keep receiving calls and this time I pressed 1 and got an operator.  She, when questioned, identified her company as National Energy Coalition.  I complained about the many calls received, but I am sure to no avail.  We are on a nocall listing, which means nothing to them.  Hopefully they will be located and properly fined and closed.

National Energy Coalition calls several times a day with an automated system - say they are contracted by Florida Power and Light to conduct free energy audits. Someone named "Jasmine" eventually came on the line to try to schedule an appointment. She would not surrender a manager's name, a phone number, or a location of the business. Told me a representative would be in my area in a few days. When I insisted on a phone number, she hung up on me. Jerks.

Just received a call.  I pressed 1 and waited to speak to someone.  I asked the name of the company and was tld National Energy Coalition.  The recording never states the name.  That is in direct volation of the FCC rules and regulations as follows:

" All artificial or prerecorded telephone messages must state, at the beginning, the identity of the business, individual, or other entity that is responsible for initiating the call. If a business is responsible for initiating the call, the name under which the entity is registered to conduct business with the State Corporation Commission (or comparable regulatory authority) must be stated.  In addition, the FCC?s rules prohibit the use of autodialers in a way that ties up two or more lines of a multi-line business at the same time. During or after the message, the caller must give the telephone number (other than that of the autodialer or prerecorded message player that placed the call) of the business, other entity, or individual that made the call so that you can call during regular business hours to ask that the company no longer call you. The number provided may not be a 900 number or any other number for which charges exceed local or long distance charges."

I asked who they were contracted by and was told that there were many.  I asked her to give me just 2 and she promptly hung up on me.

We got the same message over and over on the answering machine as everyone else is describing.  I work in the energy efficiency business and I was suspicious.  I managed to pick up the call and press 1, and spoke to a nice but not very professional young lady.  The conversation progressed ok until she tried to schedule an in-home visit and I told her that since I had never heard of them, I wanted to check that they were a legitimate business before allowing them to come to my home.  She hemmed and hawed and finally the line was disconnected on their end.  BEWARE!

These people are scum!
They are now calling from "burner" cell phones thru an autobot that will start a recording if you answer.
You do get a chance to set up an appointment if you listen to the whole thing. You are transferred to a very busy call center and the people there do not care about anything but getting YOUR info and setting an appointment so they can scam you.

Beware!!!

If you have the time, you should get a live person on the line and then ask them to hold for a sec, someone is at the door, baby crying, aliens just landed in your backyard, etc. and hold them up as long as possible.

Or you could just shine them on and give them your worst enimies' name and address!
They call from many numbers in 407, prefix 233, 232, 925, 928, 749, etc.

I am sick and tired of getting calls using our minutes with the  so called  National Energy Coalition.  We are on the no call list.  My husband has contacted our attorney, and called our cell phone company to block the calls.  The so called National Energy Coalition Company keeps changing their phone numbers daily.  We will find them and they will be fined $10,000.00 by everyone that reports them.

This is a company who identified themselves to me today as "National Energy Coalition". They offer to do an 'energy audit' - so you can take advantage of federal energy rebate or tax deduction programs. I'll bet they are selling some energy-related device and this is a way to get their foot in the door.  If so, it is clearly a violation of the DO NOT CALL LIST for them to be robo-dialing with recorded messages to numbers which are on that list.  I talked with them today when they called and told them they were in violation and I planned to report them, which I have.  They argued with me that they have every right to call, since they are "calling about a federal program".  Really??   Does that mean every appliance and a/c company, every window company, every insulation company, etc. etc. etc. in the country could call me because there are energy rebates this year on their product???  Ridiculous invasion of privacy and waste of my cell phone minutes.  Hopefully the Do Not Call list and regulation mean something...and this will be stopped.

This was a call from the company claiming they are doing free energy surveys for Progress Energy / FPL. I received calls from them on 11/09 and 11/18 from different numbers. I pressed '1' this time to speak to a person to be removed from their list. I tried to explain to the woman that they were calling my Pay-as-you-go cell phone that was also on the Do Not Call List but she didn't care. She kept trying to set up an appointment.
