5 calls in two days. this is terrible.

if you try to call this number back, to tell them to not call again,  the message says ' this is a magic jack number that has not been assigned yet'. What a scam!

They claimed to be providing a free audit of home energy consumption. I pressed them for details and found out they sell things like energy-efficient windows and other home improvements. I pointed out that I am on the Do-Not-Call Registry and they promised to remove my contact info from their database. I reported them to Do-Not-Call.

They called again but this time I answered. He said I needed an energy audit and they were doing a case on my house and needed people out there to look at the home.  They asked how big my house was and how many cars the garage could hold. I advised them I was on the FTC do not call list and did not wish to have people out at my home at all. The guy still persisted  with more questions about my power bill and house, I told him I was not interested and my power bill was fine. I was told that I was a coward negro etc..Then I was asked to hold for a guy named Chris. Then after a few seconds the phone gave a busy sound.

Adding to my Feb 4th. comment.  Still have them completely blocked.  They can't ring through and they can't get my answering machine but have still received two more calls.  Consequently, my friend's advice (from above statement) may not be correct.

Just like bahb above, I have a blocking system.  They can never ring through or get my answering machine.  I was told by a telephone surveyor that if they get an answering machine the computer calling system "sees" that as a "hot call."  That is, the computer puts the number back into the system for additional calls.  If, however, no answer is ever received by the computer then the computer ejects the number from the auto dialing list.  Don't know if that's true.  Will let you know if I ever get a call from this number again.  There's so much of this scam calling in Florida that it just doesn't pay to answer calls you don't recognize.

Calls daily. I put them on my call blocker. one ring and their gone.  Thanks to Pansonic DECT 6.0

constant calling here,,when you pick up they hang up,,and when answering machine picks up no message is left,,constant,,from 8 am until after 9 last night
