On May 11, 2012, the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit issued an opinion in the case of Teresa Soppet v. Enhanced Recovery Company, LLC. In the litigation, the Plaintiffs sued a debt collector attempting to collect a telephone bill from a third party. Plaintiffs sued Defendant for Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per telephone call and One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) per telephone call if willful."

1/7/11 - They tried to hook me this morning through a job ad on Craigs List. That link has some news footage of his operations. I wonder what their PR guy Finn B has to say about this. My guess, just like on the news expose, no comment. Nikita - 8 Feb 2011 - Got a text from 7049366232 saying that they just reviewed my application for the Secretary position i applied for and to call 888-907-0920 back. It excited me at first but then i wanted to know what job had i applied for and where it was located that had an 888 number. I googled the number and found this page. I did register at jobnab.com but they wouldnt let me view the site or search for jobs after i registered so im More that certain that this text was from them. SCAM all over it.. Beware!

Today, Mr. Difrawi continue his wholesale campaign of creating several job websites for the sole purpose of recruiting job applicants to enroll in higher education training or sign up for online education. The problem is that most of these schools are non-accelerated.

Yes this is based in Orlando, it is jobnab.com who is contacting you.  The owner/creator of jobnab.com is also a convicted felon.  Convicted of fraud in the early 90's this man now runs many job search sites, tricking people who just want to find a job and make an honest days pay, into receiving call after call from schools about furthering your education.  They claim there is no reselling of information, however, it's obvious that's a lie.  There is also numerous complaints, over 50, to the Better Business Bureau.

I received a text on my cell phone with the same description. Just be aware guys!!! recruiters or employers do not send you job offers through text messages. I sent the STOP message and received a reply that says " we will no longer send messages to this mobile number. For help reply HELP , call  1-888-753-4394 or email help@WirelessCommunicationsCorp.com . Let see what happens. I am also reporting them to the Business Bureau .

I went to the site and it's a headhunter company.
If you want them to stop sending text messages you must text STOP to 56030.
After that you receive another message "You will no longer receive messages from CareerNetwork alerts..."

I don't like getting text from someone I don't know!!

The CLI (Calling Line Info) is always sent unless it blocked. If it is not available, your phone should disply, Blokced, No Caller ID, Unavailable, etc. The mobile providers strip the Name from the CLI. In order for the name to display the calling number must match something in your mobile address book. If it doesn't it will just show the number

Investigating online finds that JobNab is a scam.

Here's what happened when I went to the site... I filled out two pages of information and was given a phone number to call. When they answered the guy confirmed the information I typed in was correct and then asked me some questions about the types of jobs I wanted. Then he said they'd start sending me updates with jobs in my area that meet those requirements. I was given the option of how often I wanted those updates and i said daily. When I got the jobs a few I'd knew already, and a few I hadn't. I followed the link and applied for them. Does that answer everyone's questions?

I got the text and went to the website. It looks like a job matching service that interviews you real quick to see what kind of job you're looking for and then sends you jobs in your area that you can go apply to.

What's the website about; the one in the text?

I put "milf" for the name of my wife in my phone and everytime she texts it says milf, lol. So it's in the phone not the text.

I'm almost positive that cell phones do not have caller IDs. The number has to be in your phone i think.

I don't know but I'm pretty sure that I pay extra to get caller ID on my phone. Maybe if you don't pay for it you don't get it.

I got the text too. I've been applying for so many jobs lately so I can work after graduation it could be about a hundred jobs.
