They just called me today and once yesterday.  I didn't answer and they left no number.  Must be a scam or collector!

I have received 6 calls in the past week. I have tried to call back a few times and a male answers only with "Hello". I hung up because it sounded like he might have been spoofed and I didn't want to jump into his case. I block it with Google Voice by transferring my home number to my Google voice number.

Keeps calling. Caller ID is "Florida". 407 Is an Orlando area code.
I do not answer these calls.

I received a call from this number today 12/16/12 on my land line they woke me up on Sunday morning! I don't give out this number and have it connected to my fax machine at home. I have gotten a couple calls from this number before but the fax picked up before I could. After seeing what everyone has said I went to the myservices account on the brighthosue page and blocked this number.

This person or company keeps calling and I have a new phone no.  I don't pick up when I don't recognize the no. (This is an Orlando no. and I live quite a distance from there).  They never leave a message but are calling daily now!  Stop!

Been getting calls from this number every day for a couple of weeks. I screen all my calls with my answering machine and the caller never leaves a message.
Today I actually answered and it took 3 "Hellos" before the caller spoke up.
He claimed to be collecting donations for a police benevolent association.
When I interrupted him and asked him to take my number off his call list he started shouting over me and said he couldn't take my number off his list because it wasn't a sales call..
I hung up on him rather than listen to him foam loudly at the mouth. *Very* rude
and probably illegal. Even if legal, most cops make more money than I do, not to mention the benefits.
How about they start a Louis Benevolent Association

It's someone trying to scam you Dawn. Just got a call from the same number and searched it. They said they were from the Florida Police Dept, asking me for donations. They are not!

Received repeated calls from this number. Never answered them.  No message ever left for me.

Rachel and her filthy company would impersonate a cop as well. If the low lives in Mumbai, India can pretend to be an investigator, Rachel would pretend to be anything just to rip people off. I think these people are scared of their own cowardly identities that they wanna be something else.

And it is illegal to impersonate any law officer!!

They won't identify themselves cause they are frauds to begin with.

I too received a call today, claming he was calling on behalf of the Florida Highway Patrol, trying to raise funds for police families in need.
The caller ID showed only "Orlando".  If they are a valid organization, I gladly will help, but I would expect at at least that they  identify themselves on the caller ID and not only show a city or" unknown".

i received call from this number today 12-5-2012. i answered and this person hung up. i called this number back and the person (male) said he was from police force fundraiser to help officer families that were killed in line of duty. he tried to pressure me to commit to a donation over the phone. i said i do not commit to anything over the phone. he said he mailed some information to my home address. i said ok and have a great day. he tried to involve me in a conversation trying me to commit to a donation. he was VERY pushy. i wished him a great day and said that i will wait for the mail and hung up. i should have asked for his name and address...

Next time when you get a call like this hang up the phone, pick up the receiver listen for the dial tone, and press star 57.

Some guy wanting me send nude photos to him.  I mean, really??  Is that supposed to be scam?  Prob a sex offender looking for his next victim!!  DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER!!
