This mf called me and my daughter about ten minutes apart, tying to collect on the same debt that she had already paid off. The
so called lawyer  is an A## Hole.

I've received two calls from them this week.  The first was missed yesterday and the call today asked me to "continue to hold" when I answered.  After 1 minute, I decided to hang up.  It's extremely annoying to receive random phone calls about nothing.  I'm glad I found this (and several others).

Called leaving a message for someone who I didn't even know. They said they were a law firm and they told me by listening to the message that I was acknowledging that I was that person. Then they gave me the persons SS number and Account number for the debt they owed and warned that if it wasn't paid they would throw me in jail. I deleted the message. If they call again I am reporting it to the local police.

No, debt collectors are prohibited from discussing their debt claims with the wrong people. Return to the FDCPA definition of "communication". They can call anybody they please to "obtain location" of the alleged debtor. Of course, this provision is widely abused by calling every relative and neighbor and employer to create false shame, often when a direct means of contact is already known to the agency.

i keep getting calls from this numbe dont now who they are they dont leave a message and since i do not know them i will not answwr their calls  i thnk they have the wron number and they should get on it and find out who they really want

I've had calls from this collection firm for months now if not years. I keep telling them to send me something in writing, they keep calling. This is a greasy little collection agency who uses the name of an "attorney"... I would not pay them if I did owe them. Never.

FYI - this computer site, is a database for a collection agency! They are looking for info on their accounts. Be careful what you post.

The debt they claim I owe is of my deceased father. I was listed as executor so they are calling and harrasssing me. They will get nothing, ever.

Got voice mail ...about someone I've never heard of...called the 800 number and was directed to voice mail...how can I get them to not call me??they answered H Sheer Law....who are these folks?

I get a call at my, my wife job and twice a day at my home from roger and sherr law office. They're calling  about a loan that has been sold several times and is on my credit report as written off. what can we do about them

Got a call from this number asking left a voice mail , they say from the office of a harold char, its my work phone , no idea who this is i just added them to my do not call contacts

I get calls from this phone number every one to three days. It is a voice automated message for some woman named Maria. Sometimes they leave a message, sometimes not.

I don't appreciate spam on my cell phone and I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST but these calls keep sneaking in. I have assigned that number a special ring and now I don't even answer it anymore.

I got a call from them today saying they're a law office. Prob some collections scam. Added to my spam program to my phone so I'll never answer or hear them ring :)

These peolpe are a Chop Shop collections company. Tina Evans is a so called supervisor there and she is the most non educated person i have ever spoken to in my life. i dont even think she is a manager, she sounds more like a $9 per hour rep on a power trip. If you get a call from this company DO NOT PAY THEM!!!! They say they are an attorney's office but they dont even have an attorney working for them. Also record any calls from this company and give them to a real attorney. Then you will realize you can actually sue them.
