I have received several hang up phone calls from this number. "Industrial Wipe" shows on caller ID, but whenever I pickup there is no response, or any indication someone is on the phone.

Just got a call at 11:05 PM from 408-286-4752 saying my credit card was used by a 3rd party and I need to enter my info.
I was freaked out at first because of the hour, but I HUNG UP and did a search online.

Wonder if this guy is aware someone is using his # for the scam???

It' still happening, something needs to be done on your end, we are the ones getting calls from your phone number, not the other way around.

I work at Industrial Wiper Supply in California and we are very upset about the fradulent activity taking place.  We have not placed any of these phone calls.  We are victims of this scam as well.  The scammers have replaced the actual phone number with ours so they cannot be traced. We receive hundreds of phone calls a day and it clearly effects our business.  Please refrain from calling us.  I have personally recieved fradulent calls on my own cell number and I choose to ignore them and absolutely never give out any of my personal information. We recommend you do the same and yes we have reported it.

Got the same call tonight at 8:20. Looked up the number and found the business website and contact info for the same number. Info below if you're interested in contacting them...

Same Call.  I don't understand.  Why are these people continuing to place these calls and get away with it? Where are the police?  Where are the detectives?

Got a call last night at 1 am and again today on my cell phone from an automated system claiming they were Transwest Credit and that my credit was accessed by a 3rd party.  I called back the number on my cell phone and got a business in the midwest who said the scammers were using their business line and this had been affecting their business for months.

They called at 10:29 PM EDT. I was watching TV and was slow to pick up the phone and the line went dead right as I picked it up (no message on the answerphone either). I initially thought maybe it was a wrong number until I looked at this site. 10:30 PM is ridiculous.

Same thing...recorded message identified themselves as some credit union (sounded something like Prados Valley), and my account may have been accessed by a third party, and press 1 to reach security dept.  One week before, I had turned in a fraud alert with the three credit monitoring agencies, after my wallet was stolen....don't know if that is a coincidence or not.

I meant IND WIPER SUPPLY.

Someone just called us at 9 PM and said our Prada Valley State Bank card was being activated by a third party so it was canceled (is there even such an institution called PVSB?). I asked my wife to hang up right away and I googled it. Here I am, adding my voice to the complaint list!

Received same call this evening at 9:30 PM .......stated it was Farmers National Bank and that my card had fraudulantly been accessed and to press 1.  I called back to see what was going on and it was Industrial Wipe in California.  Then I looked up in Switchboard to see it was a cell number.

Got a call from this number at 1:42 AM.  Yes, 1:42 AM.  My husband was half asleep, and they said something about our card was compromised.  However, didn't hear who they said.  At this point, I told him to hang up because it was a scam, and as I was talking to him, the call was saying to punch something in.

At 12:48 EST I received the robo-call regarding unauthorized usage of a credit card - it was fairly garbled.  I think that they said Farmer's Natl Bank.....probably personalized it to this area.  Naturally they wanted the acct. #.
It sure catches one off guard so late at night!!
I don't have caller ID but I *69'ed it to get the number 408-286-4752!!

got a call saying that my credit card had been temporarily disabled because there was a 3rd party trying to use it and to press 1 to be transfered to security.

I am glad I googled the number. They just called me. I didn't picked up because I am at work. They didn't leave a message. Scary! Thanks for posting everyone!

just recv'd the call this morning... exact same thing.... guess the fraud controls aren't working very well.

Call came in at 8:38pm 2/24/2009. Poor quality recorded message "(unintelligible)... Credit Union. Your credit card has been suspended due to suspicious activity on your account. Press 1 to re-activate your credit card."

It replayed then hung up. I called back to number which rang forever. Called police. They suggested Google.  Voila!

I called the company to tell them about the use of their number.  They said they were aware of it and "the authorities are looking into it".  I'm sure they'd like to get to the bottom of it.

got a call at 10:30 p.m. Sunday night saying our account had been put a hold on.  said to press 1 for billing info.  we didnt' answer

I got that same call this afternoon while working out in my basement.  They actually left me the computerized message saying 'my card had been frozen' press 1 to talk to the security department.

Received a call last night at 8:44 pm from this number and their automatic message claimed they were "Vantage Credit Union", saying my card had a temporary block on it due to some kind of failure, and please press "1" to be connected to their security dept. They left this as a message on our answering machine.  Our local police dept said they might be targeting our area as most of them had personally received this call, and my neighbor also received this call. Police said sometimes they use "US Bank" as well.

Scam call!!!!Lazy basterds who can't get a real job!!!!  Received call at 9 a.m. saying a block was put on our credit card and that needed our 16 digits in order to remove block...  Not

I got one (St. Louis) at 8 AM today.  I hung up after they told me to 'dial 1 to reach our security department'.

Called at 9:25 p.m. said automated voice said they were Vantage Credit Union and they were placing a hold on one of our cards, press one for the security dept.  Didn't do it, but laid in bed thinking do we have any cards with them...NO !  Loooked up # this morning and found all of these comments, same as mine.  Wish I would have looked this us last night, I would have slept better!

got a call at 10:30pm automated person said that my debit card has been illegally been accessed and that in order to take the hold off my acct I would need to authorize the transaction.  I hung up on them -- then called my bank to check my balance -- no issues -- will report this issue.

Just got a call from this number saying my credit card was accessed by a 3rd party and it instructed me to press 1. Hung up.

I Got a call from this # 1-408-286-4752 Caller ID on my phone said it was IND Wiper Supply.  The recording said taht a 3rd party wastrying to access my dept card & I need to input my 16 digit debt card.
