Received a call around 7:00 PM today from this number. Mentioned they are calling from the California Department of public health sacramento. But the number came as Sunnyvale CA. They asked if this is a private residence and a bunch of so called health questions. Any way of how to report this to california department of public health ?

Keep getting calls from 408-290-5722,
"unknown name". No message is ever left. I've answered & left the phone "off the hook"; nobody says anything (robo??) & eventually the "if you'd like to place a call....." ATT recording comes on because the idiots have hung up finally. I get calls maybe twice per week, different times a day. Scammers, you betcha!

what do we do ? report to whom ?

Received the same call as others have mentioned today. Was suspicious, and hung up after about 10 seconds without saying anything.

Received a call from this number and they started out by asking a bunch of questions I responded with "why are you calling" they continued to ask questions... and I said I refuse to answer anything until you tell me why you are calling... she said the Dept of Health is doing a survey about healthcare .... my response... "I do not wish to discuss my personal business with you"  she continued to ask- I said take me off the list.  They called again I said "don't want to calls"  they called again and I said - "am blocking your number I don't want to play this game - I have asked nicely for you people to stop calling"  So far they have not called back....

I too got a call at 7 P.M stating it was from Dept of health, Santa Clara. Sounded suspicious to me.

Received call about 8 PM.  Female caller said she was calling from the Department of Health in Sacramento.  Why would a state agency be calling at 8 PM?  From a 408 area code.  Next asked if this was a private residence.  Sounded phishy to me.  So I got off the line.
