Caller ID showed the call was from Los Gatos, CA.  It was a recorded message that I had signed up for a giveaway and -- like Mike - was told I had won a $2,500 trip to Cancun.  Clue #1, I never signed up for any such giveaway.  If it sounds too good to be true, it's obviously some sort of scam so I opted out.  Didn't get to the part where they ask for a credit card but obviously that's the scam - expecting someone to be stupid enough to give out their credit card number.  So sick and tired of all the scammers calling!

got a call from this number today.  If I don't recognize a number or your name is not associtated with it, leave a message..if I know you, i will call you..if not..take a hike!  ain't interested!!

Continues to call from 2 numbers...called from my work number  got a recording it is some type of subscriber for special offers.  The recording said  to stop calls enter my phone number that they called from..Well I  entered it  & it hung up right away....scams that's all they are whatever you do don't answer or put stop on your cell phone they will probably charge you for it...it's happened to me before....call your provider & have them put a block on that phone number.
