Each day they call and don't leave a message, I don't know anyone in San Jose. I didn't ask for WII Alerts.

It's definitely wii alerts. If you go to their website, you can get off the list. I think it calls when the texting service is down, but I'm not 100% sure of that.

Yes, all oyu have to do is log into your account on the WiiAlerts page - on the grid to the right is the "Clear Cell Notifications" action - just do that and the calls stop.

Guys,

This is extremely simple.

If you signup for our service's cell alerts, you will receive Cell Alerts only for *those* that you signed up for.

People sign up and forget either that they signed up, the email or the phone number they signed up with.

It is extremely simple to manage this. You sign in (we even provide a way to sign in with your phone number if you forget your Email you signed up with), and then look at the alerts you have, and delete the ones you don't want.

We actually pay for these calls, so we don't want our systems to call anybody who is not interested.

Also, you are supposed to just add and delete alerts "self-service", so please figure this out and not just send us Email. It's very hard for us to do this manually when you can do this if you have patience for a few minutes. Remember, we have to deal with a *LOT* of you, you have only yourself to deal with.

Also, if you  signed up through twitter.com for backup alerts, you need to go there and delete.

Thanks
WiiAlerts Team

Go to www.wiialerts.com and tell them stop calling.  They seem very adament that they don't want to be calling you if you don't want them to call.
