Receiving calls every day from this number.  If the answering machine picks up, just a male voice asking for me by first name and then hangs up.  If I actually answer the phone, the person hangs up.

I am on the do not call list and this number keeps calling and calling but never leaves a message just sick of it. How can I stop them from calling????

When they called I answered and said, in an out of breath nervous loud whisper, "I did it, but there's blood everywhere; and the leg wouldn't fit, it just wouldn't fit! I'm on my way to your place you gotta help clean me up." the caller said "oh, no" hung up and so far, hasn't called again. Have some fun with them!! LOL ROTFL LOL

Caller ID says charity, this is a SCAM to get your info. Immediately after they hang up dial *59 (call trace) do this every time they call.

Same things are happening to me as the people below.  I want this to stop.  

Caller id said Charity. Woman asking for money for right to life. Told her I would never give money to that organization.

I also received a call from this number, and my phone said "Charity". I did not answer and the caller said is "My Name" there? I did not answer the pnone and he hung up. This is the 3rd time in about two weeks. This is not the only calls I get from  numbers. I do not answer any of them if I am home. When I look up the numbers on the internet of the numbers that called, they all say these are SCAMS to try & STEAL your $$$ or ID, by asking leading questions, or telling you that you won a half million $$, but to get it you have to pay a processing fee.

Same thing. A man left a message yesterday (November 6, 2013) saying is (my first name) there? Hello? And then hung up.

scumbags looking to scam people out of their hard earned money....be very careful, do not give any info

Called me out of state area code with Charity on the caller id, let the answering machine handle it, they did not leave a message.

I get the same call twice every evening.  It also is a male caller and when the answer machine picks up, he asks "Is Linda there", hello, "is Linda there".  Hangs up, never leaves a message.  Does anyone know who this is???

calls  does not say a thing and hangs up time to give the number to the F.B.I. so they can check them out.

A male calls several times a week , doesn't realize he's reach my voice mail and asks for Sonya, hangs up when no one answers. Never identifies himself or leaves a message. I have no idea who this is.

Telemarketers!  I just called the number back and they said they tried to call regarding one of the nations largest children's organizations...I hung up.

Similar to David's call, asking for me by name, then hung up. Must be sales call or a fundraising effort. If they don't leave a message, I look up the number to make sure it's not important (I'm looking for a job), then label it "Sales" so all I have to do is look at caller ID and know I can ignore it.

A man called me 5 times a week. No introduction but weird question if there is a man in the household. When I said no and please stop it, then hanged up.

Same here - my phone ID says "Charity" and when I let it go to voicemail a man says "Is David there?" and after a second hangs up

Been doing this every couple of days for two weeks.

phone rings. leaves no message. i am afraid to pick up thinking that it is a scam. going to block number on my  cable phone. this has happened every morning at about 9:23 am for a week.
