a real pin in the a**

Just got a call from this number 7/16/09 @ 2:15pm. Let it go to voicemail (no message left). Called back and got a recording saying to press "1" to be placed on their do not call list (my cell phone is ALREADY on the national list). We'll see if they honor my request.

received this call on my cell phone. left no message.  I am on the do not call list

got two calls from this number right after the other.  did not leave message or voice mail.  said to press any key to continue with call.  don't know anyone in california with a number even close to this one.

Called me late-ish on a Sunday evening. I do not answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. They let it go to voicemail but when I called V/M there was no message. I am on the do not call registry. $%^&*$#@!!!

Telemarketer saying that would help consolidate our credit card.  Said to press 9 to be taken off the caller list.  I did not know the company and was not sure 9 would actually take me off the list.

i received three calls from this number (1-408-651-8119) today at 7:20pm.  ignored the first call.  second call was at 7:53pm, i answered but said nothing and listened for 15 seconds but was completely silent and i hung up.  third call came a minute after i hung up from the second call and i ignored this call also...

i also received 2 calls from 1-408-651-8189 on 08/26/09, 30 minutes apart, first one at 7:19pm.  didn't answer either call and left no message

Its a collector from Chrsyler Financial.  Just called me.  Since I dont owe Chrysler I am unconcerned :D  I think its her cell # and not the office.

I have recieved three calls from this number the past week. They did not leave a message. I dont answer annonymous calls, especially this one being it is obviously a marketer.

I am on the national "do not call list".

I got a phone call from the sam number 7/29/09 @1:20pm
they left me a message to donate money for the eco to press 1 Scam!!

Enough of these calls already! Stop! I don't know who they are, I don't answer, they don't leave msg.

Got a call from this number, didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I called back and it said if I wanted to be put on the National Do Not Call list then press #1, so I did.  We'll see if those b*****ds call back..

Same thing happened to me.  I got a call from 408-651-8119 twice and they never left a message.  Scam!

Has called my home no less than 6 times in a 24 hour time frame.  Listed as consumer seek on my caller id.

Received call today ... was recording about debt consolidation ... but there is a long pause before the recording starts

Received 11 calls within a 2 hour period today (7-11-09). One silent message was left and all the rest were no message. If theyre trying to fill their quota, it's a tad bit obnoxious.

I got two calls from this number in a 30min period. I dont answer annonymous calls..

BTW, when I call this number back, all I get is a fast busy signal.

Received a call from this number while at work.  Can't answer phone at work so I hit ignore.  About 30 seconds later, they called back.  This time hit silent so it rang a few more times (and they didn't know I hit ignore I guess.)  They didn't call back again until later tonight.  These calls really piss me off.

got a call last night.  I didn't answer.  How do you get your number off these things?

yeah just got a call from the same number 408-651-8119 at 11:40 am on 7/6/2009.  no message. weird .....prolly a scam or something..

If it is truly legit, then why not leave messages OR a valid and truthful caller ID

Received two calls from this number within half an hour that I did not pick up.  Long silent voice message received on the second call.

It's not about running... more like not wasting time politely listening to unwanted conversations... if truly legitimate and important a caller will leave a message.

I'm curious about people like you, who seem almost afraid to answer an annonymous call or a number you don't know. What are you scared of? What are you running from exactly??

National "Do Not Call list" updated first quarter of 2009.

Called me twice at 11:52 am. Have no idea who it is and didn't leave me any message. Probably another scam company or telemarketer.
