This company calls sometimes 2-3 times EVERY DAY. Very annoying and using up my cell minutes. They are looking for someone else who put my number down. I even renewed my sign-up for the National Do Not Call Registry.

I might just contact the National DO Not Call Registry to report this number. And I want to file a consumer complaint, even sue the source for harassment and violation of my privacy and personal damages.

I believe this to be a sleazy collection agency in Morgan Hill, California.

We recently noticed their number(408)762-7320 and others show up on our answering service.  Also, we have been trying to get them off our credit report. We are unable to reach a person.  We finally decided to make an official complaint against them with the Federal Trade Commision, the Attorney General's Office, write a letter to their office which, by the way has no suite number, and we made a personal call to equifax credit reporting agency.
If there are others out there please do make the FTC aware of this fraudulent company. They are not following the fair trade commision guidelines, therefore, they are ineligible to do business in the US. I get the feeling these people are foriegn and do not know or understand our guidelines to conduct legitimate business.

get a hold of the federal trade commission, i am going through the steps now its a little bit of a head ache but worth it legal action can be taken for hurrasment and or scare tactics to get you to pay them.

they continue to call and call and call, when you answer the phone they put you on hold....

yes they have other numbers and apparently they switch them around.

they are shady and they operate with the OGP police impound out here.

They are all crooks including the cops and the owners [ some cops too I heard].

After taking your vehicle and auctioning it off, long before you have a actual trial in court to prove your innocent [ in my case] your vehicle is used to extort money from you. if it is sold because you couldn't pay the cash to get it out then they sell it and then charge you the difference for whatever they couldnt get from the auction to cover the storage fee's [$33 a day for me and then they forced me to leave it for 30 days just to make sure I would rack up a bill, I was also charged $110 to have it towed 50 feet [next door] into the OGP garage].

Even if your innocent, your vehicle being taken is considered a separate case and you can ask the crooks to give you a separate trial to determine if it was taken, towed illegally.
out here in Los Angeles, CA its a huge scam going on for decades.

The courts here and DOT are in on it too and its a huge cash-cow for everyone except the victims [ the citizens].

By the way, dont get your vehicle stolen either, they will show you no mercy should they find it and tow it to the police garage and you better have the cash to get it out. or you'll be getting one of those calls form Rickenbacher. for the balance.

My public defender [lawyer] told me the whole system is dirty and he knows it, they know it.

My reappearing nuisance calls from Rickenbacker is stemming from Chrysler Financial which I've NEVER had business with; I've been dealing with this problem about ever 1-1/2 years for about 8 years.  The biggest culprit is Chrysler Financial as they, every few years (or less), have Rickenbacker hunt down a deadbeat sharing my first and last (not middle) name.

I'm getting calls every day now.  Whatever happened to the do not call list???/ Seems to mean nothing anymore.

I'm receiving calls daily from 408.762.7320, evidently for matters - possibly a car towing -  concerning my ex-husband after the divorce. He is in prison and has never lived at my address. How can I stop them?

Today alone I received 3 calls from this 408.762.7320 number.  I have also picked up and they claimed I had an outstanding collections account with Verizon.  I called Verizon and I do not have any outstanding collection account with them.  I don't know how or why they have my information and continue to pester me.  Is there a government agency or a regulatory company that I can file a complaint with?

I keep seeing this number on my caller id.  So I picked up today and they said I owe $944.44.  I got transferred to a voicemail with no call back number of reference number.  I do not owe anyone or any company money! Freaked me out so I pulled up my credit report, all is in good standing. I'm very upset, how can I get rid of this annoying agency?

It is the same story about towing charges for a car that I have no knowledge. I have already complaint with the FTC about this company in the past. They are now switching phone numbers constantly. What a pain these scammers are.

I've been getting calls from this number everyday. I did owe $$$ to another collections office but i paid that off a month ago, so i don't even know why i'm still getting calls!! its very annoying and i just want them to stop calling me!!!!!!!!!!!

RICKENBACKER collections is the shadiest company ever...I had a car towed that the tow company damaged and the car sat on their lot for a month...which they released to me once fixed and then RICKENBACKER has been trying to damage my pristine credit for over a year...I get calls every day...they should be charged with harasment...they are already under FRAUD investigation....BEWARE and COMPLAIN...RICKENBACKER should be class actioned.

Same thing happened to me I sold a car and the police towed it from the new owner now I have to pay to get a copy of release of liability from Sacramento to show proof that that car was no longer mine when it was taken to the impound

These people call me all the time trying to collect money from a car i sold several years ago that got towed, i just  have to ignore them because they are unreasonable.

It is Rickenbacher Collections in Gilroy California.  Just ignore them.  They run a shady operation.

I just got a call from this number, but I didn't pick up. An automated voice left a message asking to call this number back: 800-573-8774. The beginning of the message was cut off, so I did not get the name of the company. I guess the automated message started before my greeting finished. Whatever, I don't plan on calling that number.
