I got a call from this number but did not take it.  No message left behind.  That is usually a sign that I didn't want to talk to them in the first place.

I have gotten multiple calls from this number and if you press 1 to talk to someone to tell them to remove you from their list they will tell you "just give me your address and make/model of your vehicle" i refused to give it because I know that my vehicle does not have factory warrenty as it is over 10 years old. If you furthur listen to the call when you receive there is "press 2 to be removed from this list" well i've pressed it and i still get calls

Called my cell and left no message.  I called it back with same disconnect notice.  Here's a twist though, they're not leaving messages on cell phones (if I read the comments accurately)but I am getting VM's on my office land-line.  They've called at least 4X.  When I return the call to the # their message leaves (not the 408#), I get the same reaction when I ask why they're calling.  The person, I've had both male & female, hangs up.  If they call back, I'll note the # and report it here.  Any place else to report it?

Got a call from 408-782-6348 on my cell phone. It's my area code, south San Jose, California area. Got a recorded message (man's voice), with options to take me off the list, or "press 1 for more information." So I pressed 1, eventually got a live woman. She said approximately "Can I help you with your car warranty?" When I said, "Why are you calling me?" she hung up. Same "not-in-service" message when I called back.

Same as others, recorded message wanting to sell me a warranty. it aked me to push "2" to be removed from the follow-up list, but when I did it just left me in limbo. Total scam. Don't know how they got my cell #.

I'm tired of getting calls about a car warranty.  I can't even drive!

Just called me about a car warranty..... I am getting sick of these things. I don't know how they got my cell phone number...

Received a call from 408-782-6348.
I called it back immediately and it said that the number was no longer in service.
Must be a "ghost" or "masked" number.
Wish there was an easy way to block these calls.
