Called my unpublished home number.

The man calling from this company stumbles over his name and due to a thick Indian accent is very hard to understand. I called them several times but I took control asking who they were and what they did and if i could speak to their management. But of course they could not let me speak to anyone else. I called them numerous times but alway got the same 2 people a man and a woman. Thay claim they are from the Federal Restitution Agency and they are looking for my husband. They asked for me by a maiden name I haven't used in over 5 years. They insisted they were an afidavit processing agency. Finally I called them again and told them I was my husband which they believed, I verified the # they called me on (my cell) and my husbands name. They asked me to verify the last 4 of "my" social and read it off. I just knew this was a scam so I told them it was incorrect and the "afidavit officer" said ok thank you and hung up on me. DON'T TALK TO THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This person (Indian) called and said I owed $639.  I didn't even know what they were talking about.  It scared me to death.  This is a scam.

what a difference a year makes! A legit(One hopes) company gets assigned the same number that was used to terrify people.

Got the same kind of calls from this number.  Spoke with a woman and a man with Indian Accents.  They had my ss# and old bank account # and were saying that I would have legal charges filed against me if I didn't pay $639 for writing bad checks.  I don't even know what they are talking about but when I asked for the dates of the transactions they could only give me "the end of 2006" and they refused to give me the name of the company that sold them my account information.  They even tried calling my husband's cell phone.

She tried caliing me on my cell? I did not answer the call, let my voicemail take the call. It was a woman with an Indian accent. I returned the call ,I did a *67, so she couldn't see my number. She answered the phone as Ms. Walker? Maybe a scam ,so I just hung up the phone after that.
