I am receiving multiple hang up calls from this number. When I try to call back to tell them to stop, I am informed that the number is no longer in use.

Just got a call from a fellow talking English with a thick Asian Indian accent. He wanted to send me a new Medicare card but needed my banking info. This would really be funny if it wasn't so sad.

Wanted banking info.  Got hostile when I wouldn't give it.   Got a supervisor nwho w3as just as bad.  Hung up on them

Was not home and know no one in that area code -- read where others said it is a bogus caller about Medicare!

Got a phone call from 409-574-1214 saying they are Social security wanting my bank account info.

Scammer called about new medicare number and asked for information.

this is a scam, called me for banking info so they "could mail my medicare card" which arrived by mail an hour later

Same message as everyone else.  Game name and address, but never asked for SS Number, but then asked for bank account.  Hung up after that.

Tried to get info from me concerning bank info, I told them it was a scam and they hung up. Called SS and they could not do anything.  Beware

Have been called twice by thisnumber. Caller ID indicates name unavailable. Do not routinely answer such calls. Did on second call ,dead silence on other end.

got another robocall from 409-574-1214 caller ID said "TEXAS" on Friday 5-03-13 @ 121 PM.

A guy named 'William' spoke with a Pakistani, India, or Phillipino accent said he was from the Social Security Administration and I was going to get a new SSI card in the mail. I said "Great when will that happen" He said "in a couple of weeks". I said "OK". He then wanted to 'verify me" and he read my actual name and address info. He said he "needed to get further info from me to verify me. Asked him "what do U need".
He asked what Bank is your checking account at so gave him a real Bank name that I do not have an account at. He then asked me to look at my check book . I told him I had to go get it. So went to bathroom and took a leak and came back in around 2 minutes.  William was not on line when I said his name but I could hear a bunch of people talking in background with broken accents. A Michael came on the line and asked if I had the checking account info. Told him I was talking to William. He asked do you want to talk to him then. I said "Yes I was talking to William and he had asked me to get some information". Michael said hold on I will get U William. Then good ol William got on the line and I told him I have my check book. (The only thing I really had is my cussing/swearing Rant from YouTube ready to go.) He then read routing numbers that related to the Bank and asked me if that was correct. I had no clue but said Yes just to keep him going. He then wanted my checking account number information and IT WAS TIME = started up my cussing and swearing Rant and it played thru in less than 2 minutes. I checked to see if he was were still there and the line was still connected. Asked him how he liked it, but no one answered so I am sure he was juggling another line or asking Michael what he should do next.  When he heard my voice he came back to the phone and I immediately started up the cussing /swearing rant again he was gone half way thru the cussing/swearing Rant. Total time tying up the SCAMMER  8 minutes and 20 seconds

Just got a call from this #  Second call in two hours.  Caller ID: Texas.  No message left.  Am on the DNC list.  What a joke!!!

out, I told the caller, I wasn't even on Medicare!  Talk about a scam!!

This piece of garbage is going to steal from you.  Indian or Pakistani accent.  DO NOT GIVE HIM ONE PIECE OF INFORMATION.  Why the F@ck doesn't our government do something about these scumbags.  Here is a list of people this piece of sh(t is trying to steal from.  The government watches crap everywhere else.  How about doing something RIGHT for once.  Probably a friend of Obama's campaign.

I recived the same call,  when I told Him He didn'y need My bank information the line went dead so I called the S.S office and they said the only way they will send out a new card is on request, then I called the Sheriff
office to report it so mafy with the law and the S,s investagating it they can catch them and put them where they belong

Unfortunately, a lot of these calls come from "boiler rooms" in places like Pakistan or India, out of America's jurisdictional reach. That's why a lot of these callers sound like Apu from The Simpsons. The calls only look like local numbers because they're spoofed in order to trick people into answering the phone.

This number called me today. I only answered it because the number looked legit.

I picked up the call and got some guy in a heavy Middle Eastern accent claiming to be with "Medicare in Washington DC". He sounded like he barely knew English and was reading a script phonetically. I just hung up on him.

You'd think that scammers would put more effort into ripping people off. The same number tried calling again 2 hours later, but I know better than to pick it up now.

Same as other callers.  Caller with South Asian accent claimed to be from Medicare and informing me about new cards being sent to my address.  Caller wanted to have bank information to "verify" my identity.  I told him at that point that would never happen.  He disappeared.  When I tried to redial the number twice I got the message:  " your call cannot be completed as dialed". Got a similar call a few weeks ago from two similar sounding men who pretended to be Apple computer technicians and wanted us to let them download something into our computer so that it would "stop sending error messages to Apple".  When we asked to speak to their supervisor, they rang off.

The person said he was verifying info regarding my upcoming induction to medicare.  He asked me for my routing numbers from the bottom of my checkbook.  I told him I did not have a checking account and he hung up.

Recieved call on my cell - they asked me by name and when refused they called another phone

Got a call on my mom's house phone from heavy middle east accent man claiming to be with Medicaid confirming physical address and asking for bank account information! We are on do not call list as well.

I just got a call from 409-574-1214 with the man with Middle Eastern Accent posing as someone from the medicare department.  He sa;id he was preparing to send me a new Medicare Card.  He quoted me my name, phone number and street address and asked me to verify.  He then asked me twice for the name of my Bank.  I refused both times.  He hung up.  I may be 85 years old but I am not stupid.  
I just filed a statement reporting this with the FBI on the internet.
