Very likely a fundraiser from Johns Hopkins....I'm an alumnus, and I get fundraising calls on landline from them from time to time. First time I've ever received one on my cell phone, though. But I'm damned if I'll ever send them any more money.

This guys is very annoying. He calls at dinner time and asks for money for johns hopkins.
It is strange, JOHNS HOPKINs is the wealthiest university, not sure why they bug us with donation calls. There are 3 billion people on the planet who do not get food dailly....anyway

they called me too, saying they were from my school and proceeded to read off incorrect information about me...stuff my school would have known...don't think they're legit!

I spoke to the person...stated that he was raising money for Johns Hopkins University and knew all about the school, sounded credible, but he lost me when he asked for my cc# so that they could bill me monthly....even when I asked him to mail me some information, he kept insisting on caling me back so that I could give him my cc #
