Well.....Been awhile since a number made it through my Telephone-Firewall. This one is the first one I have had this Summer from this Telephone Number.

I have all but beaten the Telemarketers, and if you're interested how read on...

I have been fighting these Telemarketers, Scammers and Spammers for about a couple of years. You can benefit from my Research into the "Political Survery" Scam, the "Free Cruise" Scam, and the ever-annoying Shady "Home Security" -&- "Free Alarm For Your Home" Scammers (as well as these "so-called Troopers") by doing the following:

Get yourself a "Digitone Call Blocker". It plugs in between the *Wall Jack* (where your main line enters from outside your house) and ALL of your home phones that you might own.

Block "Out of Area", "Private", "Anonymous" and other OPX-Type-Calls.

And............. Blacklisting!! This is way Cool!!! Example:

That is right, don't know anyone in this Area Code? Block the ENTIRE AREA CODE out. No more calls at 6:00am to wake up your family. Blacklisted numbers never make it out this device, and onto your home phones (however many you may have).

Stores up to *80* Blacklisted Numbers (the PLUS Model Stores *140* and yes, they can be "daisy-chained" together), but as I said, you can conserve your Blacklist by Opting to Block on the entire Area Code!!

Blacklisting an ENTIRE Area Code *CAN BE DONE in MINUTES*, with no further programming EVER!!!

PS: Is Your Cellphone Getting Calls? *BOTH* AT&T and Verizon (if the Scammer is calling your Cellphone) have Call-Blocking Features. AT&T is the Best, as they allow you to store up to 30 "Blocked Callers". AT&T's Service is called "Smart Limits For Wireless" and makes a perfect Scam/Spam Firewall (I just wish it held more than thirty numbers!). At Stated elsewhere,

Verizon has one but it does delete itself every couple of months.

This number called my phone and left no message. I am on the Do Not call registry by=ut it seems to make no difference

Credit card scam. They tell you can get your interest rate lowered on all of your credit cards. They ask you to confirm that you have a combined balance of over $3000 and your phone number (which they clearly already have) to start. Then they ask you to verify your Visa information, insisting they have the info already. They asked for my expiration date. I refused. He went on and on about how no security information would be required, I JUST had to confirm I had my card in my possession by verifying the information he already had in front of him. I said no. He got his supervisor. The supervisor asked my name. I said "You tell me." He hung up on me.

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Received one from 410 571 5658 at 10:44 CDT today. No message. Thanks for posting. I know what to do now.

Called me two hours ago and did not leave message. I then blocked my own caller id and called the number back. It rang and rang with no answer before disconnecting me.

Currently, this number is being used for illegal recorded message calls about lowering your credit card rates. Using a recorded message is against the law for marketing and you can report these calls to the FTC even if you are not on the national do not call list. Report these and other calls at 1-888-382-1222. Reporting temarketing and scam calls doesn't work overnight, but it DOES WORK. We hardly get any calls now, but we have been on the DNC list for about 5 years and I report ALL junk calls that we get.

Anyway, this outfit will say they have your information and just need to verify it, but remember that they called you. And why do they ask for more than just the last 4 numbers of your card? Give them fake information and they will say it matches your account. DO NOT GIVE YOUR REAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE THAT CALLS YOU. If you think  they may be real, ask for their number and call them back. But even then you might be getting fooled. Be very careful!!!

received a call on my cell from this number 410-571-5658 i actually picked up and 12 seconds they hangup so i just blocked this number

I received a call from this number, no voice mail left- figured it is a solictor or scam.

No caller I.D. so I didn't answer the call.

Joust got a call at 1018AM from 410-571-5658.  Caller ID Said BRIO TUSCAN GRI.  I didn't answer.  They left no message.  Looking at the previous posts, it is definitely a scumbag telemarketing recorded message scam. I will file a complaint with the do not call hotline at 1-800-382-1222.

Credit card spam

Said it was the Brio Tuscan Grill wanting to lower my interest rate, this is a restaurant and not a finance company.

Automated message saying that I should press 1 to lower my interest rate on my current credit card

They called and said that my credit card was fine (No mention of whom the card was with) but to lower my interest rate I should press 1.  They said it was my final notice duh duh duuuuhhh.    Total junk

Got a call, did not leave a message, but caller ID said - Brio Tuscan Grill.  Obviously, it seems they will go by any name, with any reason for the call.

phone number called, i didnt answer due to being at work. Left no voice message!

I just did yesterday.

No message left. Says on my caller Id they are from Annapolis MD. I called back twice, first time the line was busy, second time just no answer, and they do not have a message machine. Seems sketchy.

Caller left message stating many women are troubled by vaginal dryness press 1 for a free sample of personal lubricant and press 2 to be removed from our list.

No caller ID so I didn't answer, they left no message.

This spammer is peddling some medical device scam.

I just received a call from this number.  I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number and figured it was a solicitor anyway.
