Recieved a call too. I MISSed the call because I was on the line with another company and YOU know how it is.. Once you finally get a hold of someone you don't want to hang up

I received an automated call from someone saying there was nothing wrong with my card, but they wanted to lower my interest rate.

Hey now.. No need to call anyone slim balls.. No need to be insulting lol.

Anybody want to tell this dumb @$$ iiliterate that it is spelled "Aryan". Kind of makes us doubt that you are the kill crazy right wing nut job you pretend to be. At least you know how to spell Brooklyn.

I've used extreme call blocker as well and it works gggggrrrrreeeeeaaatttt but I've heard so does using a fog horn or whoopie cushion. You must be very very smart to have come up with that idea.

I received a call from this number too. I think this is the company I have done business with before but not sure, it could be a different company portraying itself as this company. This company said they were done doing business with me and to only call for a "specific reason", if it is the company I have done business with before I am glad they called.

Assuming most of you have received a call from this strange number on your cell phone. I am a Droid Girl. I used to get weird calls in the middle of the night. So I went to the Google Play Store to find a call blocking program. It's called "Extreme Call Blocker." It's the blue shield widget. Best freakin $5.99 I ever spent on an app. Just get yourself a call blocking app and set it up. Im sure there's some free blocking apps out there if you dont want to pay - but the app I mentioned caught and blocked the number everyone here looked up. It was in my log of blocked calls. Forget the DNC registry. Unless you folks continue to insist on being drama queens over unknown numbers, just get an app.

But in case you're curious, I called the number because I have business in the 410 area code. Said it was not in service so I ended up here.

got a call and they hung up after 20 seconds.  No automated message ....tried to call it back and verizon said the number is not in use

OH YAY!  I finally got my long awaited coveted (not) phone call from 410-587-1090.  I did the whitepages reverse lookup and verified it was from "Verizon landline from Arbutus, MD"  I was on another call when it came through, but I wouldn't have answered it anyway as I DO NOT GIVE OUT MY MOBILE number to anyone except close friends and family, and on occasion a business who needs to call me when my workorder is done or prescription is ready, and always verify that they will use my number for no other purpose or release it to no other party.   ALL that to say, from what I've read on previous posts, most of these calls are made to mobile numbers.  Is there any connection ?

Received call but no message left. At least I could see the caller ID unlike when my ex gf would call me and block her number! :)

didn't answer. just let it ring. tried to call back and got recording "this number is disconnected". have added to contacts as "Telemarketer BS" so i'll ignore it next time.

I save the number under "Do Not Answer" so the next time I know what to do.

Just got a call didnt answer, they lefy voice mail but empty...

They keep calling me at all hours.

They just called me, but I just angrily told them to take me off their calling list and hung up.

I just received a call from this number, but did not answer as like many did not recognize the phone number. I tried to call back and it states, "the number you called is not in service" after it rings a few times. It is insane how many people have received calls from this number, and it makes me wonder what company leaked my phone number, or where this caller hacked to obtain my information.

Same happened to me.

Got a call from these people on my cell.  My cell I carry with me when I travel, it is not used daily.  When I saw the call, I rejected it.  Have no idea who they are, but I don't answer calls for numbers I don't recognize.

I am on the do not call list as well.

Will be filing a complaint as well.

I received this call about 1 hour after looking to open a credit card with Bank of America. Seems a little too coincidental to not be connected in some way. They had to run a report to make sure I was eligible for the card.

I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and referenced this forum. Hopefully something comes of it.

Read some of the posts. Hung up 5 seconds after I answered. Why would a robo-dialer hang up once I answered? Thought it might have something to do w/ some business I have in Maryland. Usually I don't answer calls from area codes that I have no business in. That's why God created voice mail.

This is spam.  I'm not interested in lower credit card rates.  And you can not lower the rate I have, because I do not have a card.  Joke is on you!
