Why must they keep calling since I never had an account with them ?

I called the number back, gave me an option to hear about this phone call. (even though I called them ???)
Pushed the number one, it then went into a semi short message about BOA providing services that we think you need.......bla bla bla.
Then I heard, "if you would like your number to be put on BOA do not call list please push one" I pushed one. Then I had to enter my number, (makes a little sense, I dialed *67 before the number, but maybe not)
Then the message said it would take up to 30 days for my number to be removed. WHAT???
I know a computer does it, so why does it take thirty days? I'll tell you why, it gives them thirty more days to call you and try to scam your money out of you!!!
This is not BOA, it is a company trying to get money from their customers. One of the first thing the message said was, if you wish to speak to BOA please dial this number.
Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

Selling credit protection; claims to be calling on behalf of Bank of America. I had onlinen chat with BOA and they claimed no affiliation with GLobal Contract Services (who my agent claimed to work for). Call BOA or go to their web site to submit your privacy choices. Unless you opt out, they can get away with giving your information to third parties. My number is unlisted yet they had my name and knew I was BOA customer. I'm angry. My phone is for my business, not theirs.
