iv gotten the same calls from a number   518 6700165 from a women named jill from county arbatrations telling me i owe money from a credit card that was from 2003 and went into default in 2006 i owe 795 but if i send 400 it will stay out of court.  then she said when i have the money i can reach her a 410 514 6431 witch is maryland i call the 410 number and she answers.  but if you call the 518 witch is a new york number she answers that one two.  how is she in two states at once. if i owed money i think i would get something in the mail.

Oh and another thing, if you look up the company he is calling from, Cathay Arbitration, it is actually in North Dakota.  So . . . you do the math.

I recieved a call from a rude lady on a business phone,not my personal phone saying i have a debt to pay from 2005 for a checkmate company. They said they r seaking 600.00 but if we go to court i will face criinal charges and the debt will increse to 700.00 but if i pay today i can clear it up for 300.00. They gave me an address that i supposibly live yey never lived there,my last 4 of my social but not my whoe social amd the compny that i use to work for which i never did. They threatened with crimi al charges my girlfriend called the local sheriffs and we found out its a complete scam. These people need to b reported amd dealt with. Not only was i upset but the people around me becuz of something i didnt do....thry also said something about federal recording of the call. They tricked me into giving them my cardi formatoon... dont let is hppen to you.

If you want people to pay,  why don't you follow the laws of the FDCPA concerning consumer rights?  Instead of calling and threatening arrest or jail time over a telephone (which is illegal),  why don't you put it in writing,  validate the alleged debt,  and your right to claim and collect in each state?   Why don't YOU follow the laws and rules also and provide proof and validation of any claim you have to an alleged debt.  You are nothing better than a shady criminal yourself.  You actually call over a phone,  a total stranger,  and expect people to blindly hand over money?   I hope none of these people are that stupid.    go to hell..

someone called stating that they were a background investigator named Don Mack from The County Arbitrations office and a complaint has been filed against me in Los Angeles County and to call back 916 414-8678 ext 308 and when I called I spoke with Madison and she stated that they were mediators before the claim goes to court from a payday loan with Advance America (that I honestly do not remember ) she did not have any specifics such as loan amount or dates only that I can pay $500 or $900 if it goes to court I have had the same phone number and address for the past 15years and have yet to receive anything in the mail.

I got a call from a walter brice told me I had three hours to respond.I have recieved two phone calls, both times I had asked them to remove my number.

410-630-4336 Got the same Walter Bryce message on my cell phone. The actual call did not show a phone number - it just said private number. Has to be a scam. If this was for a real debt, you would get something by snail mail, not just a call from an unheard of organization.  If it actually dealt with my bank, they would call me directly.

this place is a collection agency. very rude people work here. they are based out of maryland.

I also received a recording stating that I had a bounced check and to call the 410-630-4336 number with in 48 hours.  I tried to call back to see who they were actually trying to get a hold of.  Of course no answer.  So I called the actual number of the company who called me 916-414-8678.  A lady answered from some county arbitration office.  I told her the situation and she looked my phone number up.  The name she said was Nicole and I told her that I don't know who she is and that the phone number they had on the system I have had for over 12 years. She removed my number from the system.

If you receive this call and you know you don't owe anyone call the number that originally called you and let them know to remove your number.
