Received a call today from the above number; left a voicemail. What a joke! You call back and nothing, but an automated message plays asking you to leave a message.
| David 2013-04-25 15:42:20 Unknown |
you are correct these people are debt collectors. However don't let them intimidate you since the Automated system only speaks English ,they are unable to guarantee the privacy of an individual. Second they are not permitted to intimidate harass or degrade anyone on the other end of the phone so be sure to get the name of the person speaking first and if possible record a call. Make sure to contact the attorney general for the state of Maryland and file complaints against this business. They are unable to see if this is an insurance mistake or some other issue has prevented payment of a medical bill. You don't have to take this from the bottom feeders. Fight back as hard as you can and if that doesn't work attack them on Facebook.

Got a call from this number on a cell phone that I use maybe once a year! I called back, asked who they were looking for, and was given a name that was definitely not mine. Was told that the person they were looking for probably had my phone number before I did and then the Customer Service person told me that she was deleting my number my their system. I hope she was telling me the truth.

Computer generated collection call for a person not at my number. Claims I have legal responsibility if I do not hang up.
If you stay on line long enough, they validate your number and sell it in black market scam world where you will be harrassed with more unrelated business calls. On previous landline phones-have had problems with the exact same generated call form this organization, but different non-existant person, and a different organization phone number.
If you don't answer first call, they merely re-program to call weeks later. Since they are not operating within any legal framework, legal recourse is useless.

This company keeps calling me, to collect a persons debt I don't even know. I have spoken to several operators and asked them very nicely to remove my number from their calling list, as this is a mistake on their end. The last two times I asked to speak to a supervisor they hang up on me.

I am hearing from this company and another about someone that had my phone number before I did. When I tried to verifiy they are looking for "Stephanie" I get a rude response of "do you have an extension?" When I say no that I have no clue who they are or who Stephanie is I get hung up on. We are in a world where phone numbers are being re-used with new customers and this is the third # in a row where debt collectors are after the former owner. 4 numbers ago I had someones 12 year old stalker...LOL! (was able to verify after a friend of that former number called and I explained the situation and found out about the stalker.)

I received 2 calls today.... one or two rings then they hang up. Thanks for the link above, I called the 800 number, 1 800 296 6180 , and asked why I get hangup calls. They wanted my number .... so I hung up! : )
I have a cell phone that drops calls often, so I have called them back , twice so far and just leave the phone near my stereo speakers. Free long distance calling, to a business 800 number that they feel obligated to answer. Do they really want to play games with a bored person who is hounded by the hospital that wants hundreds in co-pays for a clinical trial (there should have been NO COST for this). I have tons of time on my hands.... am bored, and am not a trouble maker..... but if someone wants to play... I will play!

Claimed they were calling regarding a medical bill. I informed them that Federal Law requires them to send it in writing. They then began to get abusive, talking non-stop, not letting me say anything. Telling me to stop yelling, even though my voice never raised once. I finally just hung up on them, I don't have time to talk to anyone that wants to act like that.

These clowns have been calling me for the past year or more. I just got another call this morning which I didn't answer.
I had some medical imaging performed in 2009 and have receipts for all of them.
My credit report from early 2011 shows no outstanding bills. My credit score is 915 out of 990.
I have never received any mail concerning any outstanding medical bills for about 18 months now. If I owe money, they can send me a notice to my address, otherwise BUZZ OFF.
They should be careful as someone who knows R&R address could cause problems for them, legal or otherwise.

Calls my number quit often, asking for someone I don't know!!!

This is in fact a legit company. I had a hospital bill being mailed to my old address. Because the bill was never paid (I never received it), R & R was given the case. It showed up on my credit as an outstanding unpaid bill and brought my credit score down. Check your credit, if you have an outstanding bill and it mentions R & R, I suggest you call back R & R to find out more info on who you owe.

The last time hey called was a month ago, and she also accused me of yelling and wanting to argue and hung up on me. This time I kept the upper hand, despite her trying to get me emotionally worked up, just like Dave Ramsey says they do.
So much for their "<U>professionalism</U>" LOL!

I get calls everyday for my Ex and I did talk to a very rude person who won't take my number off the list! I don't know why they keep calling me and I will not pay the collection agency on his behalf and the Advanced Imaging Partners out of Baltimore never sent him a bill or never was one sent to my address! I felt this was a very strange company. I wish they would stop calling and leaving a message on MY answering machine!!! Bug off people and do your research, I wish someone would expose them for what they might be.

Debt collection. They called me trying to reach someone else. They took me of the phone list, but was treated very rude by a sir that called himself 'Del' and his superviser that called herself 'Jen'.

I have been having problems with bills from a company called Advanced Imaging Partners out of Baltimore consistently sending bills to me at erroneous addresses. Just one digit wrong ends up causing R&R Recovery to contact me about collection. This has happened a total of about 5 times in a year and leads me to suspect that someone in Advanced Imaging Partners is skimming business to R&R Recovery for a kickback. Today, they contacted me again and threatened to damage my credit rating if I did not cooperate with them then hung up on me. I reported this to Advanced Imaging Partners who I again requested they send me a bill to my CORRECT address (for the second time this month) so I could pay it.
It's not that it would cost me any more money to pay the collection agency but I refuse to have, on my record, that a collection agency was required to collect a fee owed.
I suspect criminal activity.
I can be contacted at delmarvamed@comcast.net

This number called me twice! They never left a message and I didn't recognize the number so I never called them back.
I just found out what they were thanks to this website as kind of a coincidence. I was looking up another number (one that had left a message, thought a rather vague one)and thought I'd try searching this one too.
Knowing who they are, I won't be calling them back until they actually leave a message and act like they want to talk to me!

We got the following pre-recorded message today:
"This call is for INSERT NAME. If you are not INSERT NAME please hang up now. If you are INSERT NAME please stay on the line for important information reguarding an urgent matter. There will now be a three seconds pause . . . it is important that INSERT NAME calls (410) 653-6180 . . ."
If it is in fact important or urgent put a damned person on the phone. We do NOT return this type of call, especially on our phone bill.
