scammers wanting all the info off a credit card. lower intrest rates is not what you will get. I
toyed with them. they kept insisting that i give them my 12 digit card number having already asked for expiration date and 3 diget security number. i kept telling them i won't give it, they should have all my information if they have an offer. finally i told them that my credit card company told me NEVER give out ANY information and as he started to BEG for the number again i hung up. nigerian scams via an american number. BEWARE!

Just got a call from this number, same deal every day only this is a new number.. I stopped answering my cell phone months ago because of all this, every day all day crap. Every single time I talk to my cell phone provider they tell me that there is nothing that they can do, so every time I call in to them, I make sure to ask. This last time though they said that I agreed to have my cell phone number given to these kind of people because I agreed to it when I got my latest phone in the upgrade. Now here is something new right? Apparently we agreed to this with our cell phone and or home phone providers. Since the last time I got my home phone number changed and made sure that they did NOT add that number to the list of numbers that can be *sold* to these kinds of companies, I have not had this problem out of my home line. But Alas! I still get about 10 or 15 calls a day on my cell phone.. -_- My cell provider is AT&T as well as my home phone. Thinking seriously about changing companies but really is there one out there that wont sell you out to these kind of baboons?
Annoyed!

police advised on this number, they said do not push 1 to talk to them and do not call the number back as that's how they steal the numbers to spoof

Recorded call from "Heather" of "account services" telling me I need to call regarding one of my credit card accounts and other eligibility. Reported to do not call registry.

Oops, got an error message and hit submit two more times...sorry!

The call started with a recorded message about lowering the interest rate on my credit card. I pressed 1 to speak with a person and asked for the name of the company and where they are located. I was told "Credit Card Services" in Orlando FL (but it's a Maryland phone number). I asked for a mailing address for the business and was told they do not conduct business through the mail. When I asked again for a mailing address, she hung up on me. I immediately reported it on the Do Not Call website and urge everyone else to do so, also.

*** FRAUD *** FRAUD *** FRAUD *** FRAUD *** FRAUD *** FRAUD *** FRAUD *** FRAUD ***
I didn't answer it. They didn't leave message. I assume they are thieves. Unknown callers get one chance to leave a message, then I put the number on Digitone call-blocker. Works like a dream: the phone doesn't even ring. This category of call I automatically all FRAUD.
These people, the abusers, don't stop. They don't understand that we, the abused, have tools with which to fight against them, thus preventing them from emptying our bank accounts into theirs. The telephone ain't what it used to be.
*** THIEVES *** THIEVES *** THIEVES *** THIEVES *** THIEVES *** THIEVES *** THIEVES ***

I got a call today from it, and like others I did not answer as I was at work and no message was left for me either...
Very suspect....

Received this call today. It was an automated voice asking me to press #1 to speak to a representative in order to lower my interest rates on Visa, MasterCard, Capital One, Chase, --they named several and said they could qualify me as long as I had a balance of $3500. I asked who they are and they said they were from "credit card services" and asked which card I had the higher interest rate on. I told them I didn't know and he asked me "grab my Visa". When I questioned him not knowing which cards I had, he assured me he would not ask for any personal information. I hung up. :)

Scum bags called my cell phone number and told be they were calling from Visa, Mastercharge, Bank of American, and a bunch of other names of banks to offer me a better rate on my credit card. I don't like anyone calling my cell phone unless I authorize it.

Received a call from 410-768-7599 this morning. Said "hello" and got "Heather - the recorded message" about getting a lower interest rate on my credit. Since they didn't specify which card and which bank, I disconnected. I wouldn't press any of the choices, either.

I wonder why every time they call it is a new number they use. Now they use a local number, I guess thinking I will answer it. So pages of calls in a few days time! I guess they will use a new number next month. Hate these scammers!

This person claimed to represent the company "Credit Card Services." I googled it, saw nothing relating to that company other than a link that said "Beware 'Credit Card Services' Scam". Naturally, I was skeptical.
Person was phishing for personal information under the pretenses of being able to lower the credit card interest. They were asking for the expiration date, the last four digits, amongst other info.
I asked to speak with a supervisor, and the person they put on had me even more sketched out than the first person who called. Fast talking and not answering any of my questions at all.
