they hung up when i answered

This idiot calls every day asking for me i change my number but they still get it

They called mid-afternoon.   I took the call.   There was someone on the line this time.  It's from US English, a group I do support (but not over the phone).  Big surprise - they'd like some money.  Ironically, woman on phone stumbling through her script to me could barely read and speak English, although she sounded like black American woman, not foreigner.   Slurred words, poor enunciation & pronunciation; sad commentary on our education system.

I get occasional calls from this number.    I just decided to Google it & got this site.  Interesting to see that people here say it's US English, a group I have supported in the past (but not given them this phone number).  Like others, I get the call and there's no one there on the line.  Next time they send me their literature, I will express my displeasure in them wasting money and annoying people

These b****eads have been calling me at least once a day for the past week.  There is never anybody on the line when I answer and if they get the answering machine they don't leave a message.

They called at 8:15 AM this morning and  no one on line. Called again tonight at 7:24 PM and no one answered.They have called here many times before. They ask for my 78 year old husband because he talks to them but I tell them he's not available so they hang up on me.

Tired of the nightly interruption (6:15) of my dinner. I gave em' the airhorn tonight.

This is a call from a citizen group known as US English Inc.  They are a citizen group for the acceptance of English as the official language of the US.  Not sure if they are asking for donations or just want to give you a speech about contacting your senator.  My advice, answer the next time they call with, "Hola, gracias para llamar. Quíteme por favor de su lista de llamamiento ahora. Gracias mucho."

Called 2 different days, no message left.
