got a recording about our good credit and that we have earned a prize.

I have had these calls and I never have answered. I just click talk and put it under a pillow till I hear the tone!! I'm soooo sick of all these BS calls its getting out of hand!!

When I called the only option was to remove myself from a list.  I just had to enter my phone number.  Hmmm....not sure what to do.

I got the same recorded call 2 days running saying that my credit rating was so good they were offering a prize in recognition-and the usual crud saying press 1 to hear more or 3 to be removed. I wonder if pressing a # confirms to them that there is an actual person there- similar to what spam emails do to confirm if an email address is active. Don't respond to either is the best policy. I talked to a guy named "Tommy" to question him about his offer of a trip to Cancun with a hotel group called Sunset. I asked if I could call him back and he just hung up. I probably didn't sound like I was going to be fleeced that day.
The # can be traced to a landline in Crofton, Maryland. I was hoping that someone who lives in that area and can call them at no charge to themselves to ask them who sold their soul and thus why are they trying to get my money to buy it back. They obviously need professional help and maybe the police can be the first step for them to find the help they need. Btw I'm on the opposite end of the continent so the scammers obviously have a large calling area.

I just received a call from this number and I live in Northern California.  The call was a recording that I humbly listened to in hopes of having some option to remove my number, or talk to someone so I could scream at them to remove me.  Well, after a long boring message of some fantestical tropical island with 30 plasma screens all over the place(why would you watch tv when you're on vacation?), there finally was 2 options: Press 1 to hear more, or press 3 to be removed.  I pressed 3, and the phone hung up.

We just got the call as well. Something about credit being good for a year. Press 1 to talk with a representitive. We made the mistake of pressing 1. Disconnected shortly after some hold music. Spin the wheel of misery for us now.

Just received a call from this number at 11:30 pm and when I answered there was no response.  This is the second time this has happened late at night.

Snapper, where are you from, maybe this is a targeted thing on a location?

Just received a call.  Recorded message said I had earned 2600$ in bonus points for a getaway because I had a good credit.  I had to press 1 to redeem my prize.  I hung up.

Fax machine maybe? We've been getting them all day, every day for the last 4... i dont get it, we dont even have a fax or a connection to take fax's

this one has called my house and didn't leave a message so I'm assuming is another telemarketer.
