Got a call today whilst out from this number but it didn't like talking to my answer phone

I have received 4 calls today from a witheld number and 3 calls last night.  They are pre-recorded in a male English accent advising me to press 2 for more information about Debt Relief Orders.  I have a young baby and I am sick of these calls as they have woken my daughter twice.  7 calls in 2 days is surely harrassment?  Does anyone know who these people are?

I live in the U.S. and I am on the no call list here in the states and I have been reciving calls from this number. I never answer it but the calls keep coming. I thought I would google the number and this is what came up so thank you for letting me know this is some Bull Sh*&^....

They called my Skype LOL.  I have a Skype number which I give to ALL financial institutions; (e.g. my bank, my insurance etc) I NEVER give them my home or mobile numbers.  I'm in the UK, also registered with the TPS.  I have begun receiving calls from US numbers recently (even at home) but if I hear that delay before any speech I hang up.  The Skype number NEVER gets answered.  These jokers can take their market and stick it where the sun don't shine... ;-)

Just an update.
I had another "Number Withheld" call on Friday at 6.07pm.
I picked up this time and got an earful of recorded information (with an English accent)about debt consolidation.
Didn't bother listening until the end of the message though as I have a life   ...  :-)

These pests have been phoning both my home numbers in the UK every day now, for almost two weeks. Always between 4pm and 7.30pm.

They used to reveal their number, but now it shows up as "International" and "Unavailable". Of course, I wrote it down prior to them blocking it and it's been the same recorded message about debt every time.

I was out today and they even left a message on my answerphone.

Has anyone dared to press 5 when asked and spoken to someone?

Called on 7th Apr 11-49. Caller did not leave any message.
I am in the states, in Maryland soon and I will find this person and smack them up a bit.
Don't care who they are, they know better than to call outside their own country.

Hi all, just did a websearch on 0014107748652 and found this forum.
Got a call from 0014107748652 on Monday 7th April at 8.45 am (County Durham UK).
Didn't pick up, as I never answer callers that I don't recognise, after being frequently hassled by insurance companies etc.
No message left on answer machine.

I have also had a couple of recent calls during the day whilst I am at work, listed as "International Caller" but no numbers.

I am registered on the UK Telephone preference service, but as stated earlier, this does not apply to offshore based  calls.

These people could be scammers or ordinary people just trying to earn money... in either case I just wish they would give it a rest   >8O

Recieved call from this number 14:50 today - it did not like talking to my answerphone so no message left; thanks for this site at least I know what it was;

I am in Canada and it seems this phone number is making the rounds!!
I hope they call back so I can tell them where to stick it!!

When I enquired, I was told by BT that for the most part, it is British firms that are operating in the USA in order to get round the Telephone Preference Service.

In the UK. Call received at 3pm today. No message left. As a previous comment, my number is registered with the Telephone Preference Service in the UK, so I don't get any UK marketing calls, so wonder how a US based company got my number.

0014107748652.  Received call while out - number obtained by dialling 1471.  most frustrating.

Great fun, their machine talking to my machine, started to talk whilst my machine was still talking, so I don't even know who it was from, but it was going on about injury compensation.
Hope it does not happen too often, wonder how they got my number, can't be random surely, as I am in the UK.

In England, UK Recieved this call about 10 minutes ago, automated message, talking about debt handling, have had the same message about 3 times before in the past month! Getting a little fed up, It is either from canada or america but not sure. Can anything be done?

In UK. Received unsolicited call from this number with recorded message about claiming injury compensation.  As a disabled man learning to walk again this type of intrusion angers me.  I am registered to not receive unsolicited calls from the UK so to receive them from the US and have no power to block them is extremely frustrating.

In England -- Now receiving the same Unsolicited Nuisance Calls "National Awareness" that used to come from caller ID 0015179312162
