Calls 3 and 4 times a day and don't say anything.

Scammer is being hunted!

I am getting a ridiculous amount of phone calls from this phone number. They told me my five thousand dollar loan was approved...I have not applied for a loan anywhere, and I am nowhere near Maryland. I can't get the phone calls to stop, I told one to take me off the mailing list, and he argued with me and said I signed up for it, which I most definitely didn't do.

Just got a call and went along with it.
"Hello this is Chris Harris, how are you today" I said "fine" they replied "Great, you still have one of those nasty high interest internet payday loans don't you" "Yes" I said, and a live lady came on th the line after another question or two.
I politely asked her to "Would you please remove my number from your list, I'd really appreciate it since I don't have any loans." She was very nice and said she would but it may take up to three days, I told her that was fine and she said "Have a nice day."
So the question is will she actually remove my number as she said. At first she wanted my name in order to remove my number which I didn't give her. I only gave my number. She also gave a company name which I didn't quite catch. The person I talked to had no accent that I could detect however that doesn't mean she still couldn't be calling from outside the US.

I keep getting calls. The robotic voice says it's Chris Harris. I asked what they wanted and they said, in a robotic voice that seemed personalized to my response, that they offer help with messy pay day loans. I said I don't have any of those and the robotic voice said "You do still have one or more internet loans right" To which I said, no I've never had any and they hung up.
They have been calling me during work hours and in the evening for the last 2 days. This is the first time I've talked to them. We'll see if the robot keeps calling.

Gotten a call from them of 410-844-5611 claiming that they are a loan company and stuff. I told them to stop calling or I was going to report them. I had gotten the call yesterday when I told them that. I decide to call that number back today. I was place on hold next I knew I gotten hang up on lol.

Folks there is nothing you can do to stop them. My suggestion is if you have a smartphone android or apple go to the marketplace a download a call blocker. I use one called call control and it works great. It picks up the call and hangs up on them. The other option is to add the number to your contacts and opt to send them directly to voicemail. Telling them to stop calling does not work and they are not based in the US so they do not follow US laws. They sppof US numbers to make it appear they are calling from here. Good Luck!

I have had several phone calls from this number. I have asked them nicely to stop calling, not getting through to them.

Received numerous times without leaving a message daily

I've been called from this number multiple time, twice receiving that "Chris Harris" recorded message followed by a hangup whether I answer or not (the most recent time I said not to call me, and it hung up).

These calls come to my cell and I am charged for minutes!  This number should not be allowed to do this legally.  I am signed up with the no call list. This "no call" list is supposed to be forever, unless you chose otherwise. What is the point of having a "no call" list if it doesn't work?!  I am going to start blowing a whistle into the phone when I get these calls.  Robot or not...maybe they will think it's a fax#!

Chris Harris is computer voice and it asks if you have any payday loans that you are trying to get rid of.  I have  answered a few times and said yes and no in some instances just to see how far it will go.  Sometimes when i say no it hangs up immediately.  This is a pre recorded scam.

The DNC only keeps the honest business's honest, scammers and thieves do not obey any laws..

What ever made you think scammers and thieves would honor that list?  And those real ones that do, get fined and socked pretty good, you need to file reports..  But don't think its going to stop those scams,extortionist and thieves! Charity's and Political calls are also exempt..   but most will remove you if asked!

Bottom line.....these scumbags need to be arrested ! There needs to be a law that says if these people make scam calls and caught...jailed for life. THe DO NOT CALL LIST doesnt work. There is no real punishment. If real punishment was placed on crime today, we wouldnt have so much. The internet has just allowed more scum to rise to top. I work in an office and all day get annoyed by these morons. I dont answer. I have call waiting and I figure if a message is necessary, then they will leave one. I disabled my message ability at home. I keep landline just in case I need, but hardly anyone calls that I want to talk to. I see on caller ID tons of missed calls and all scammers or solicitors for money. Robo calling should be against the law.

Just called a minute ago (ironically? or not?? as I was using this site to report calls from other numbers) "Chris Harris" message, but this time I hung up before it could.  Have received 5 calls in the past week. Never before.

For 2 days now this number and a 00000000000000 number and another number have blown my phone up, asking for me but not responding to my questions and hanging up as soon as I show any concern. What to do?!?!

I just got the same call just a few moments ago!! UGH!!! I feel bad for the real "Chris Harris" cause there is no way it is a real person on the other line! THEY NEED TO STOP calling me....

This number continues to call me, but when I answer 'Chris Harris' is a robot who ask how you are doing, and when I don't respond, the call is disconnected.  When I ignore the call, they do not leave a message.

They have called my cell, my 3 sons cells (all under 18), my work, eeven my boss and my ex-husband claiming I haven't paid a payday loan and that I was going to be arrested.  They won't give you an address to send a letter (I was going to send a cease calling letter that you can send to debt collectors to keep them from calling).  They want a form of payment over the phone and when you say no but give me an address they argue with you.  It's a total scam to get money from people who they intimidate but calling my 3 minor sons, my ex-husband and my boss has got to be illegal or something!!!  Does anyone know?

they r calling my house all day until I go to bed at night.  they either say I will be arrested for not paying a loan but I never got a loan is what I tell them then they laugh.  they rn't even from this country.  they need to find a job.  and some say they r law firm but u hear voices in background which proves to me from another country from a net cafe wanting some money so I dont get arrested.  I am not stupid I wont send.  There has to be a way to stop them

They keep calling from this number and other numbers over 10 times a day claiming they can help me with my online payday loans. I do not have any of those. I also received a call from someone claiming that they worked for the US grant dept. They all have very thick accents. It is getting old, real quick. I was given the name Chris Harris.

pick up and hang up fast , this pisses them off and they might call right back but if you keep doing it they get the hint

Then there was a pause...And the said "Do the total $500 or more?" I said "How would you know if I had any payday loans?" and they "said to wait for a specialist." I hung up. I looked at the number on my phone and decided to call it back, because it sounded like a real person , but I was almost sure it was a recorded voice. When they answered, They said "This is Chris Harris and we are calling to see if I still had payday loans? I said "This isn't a real person!" and they said "Yes, I'm a real person." and laughed!  I also laughed and said "No it isn't. How would you know if I had any payday loans? Then they said "Do they total $500 or more? and I started playing with ?, Cause I knew then it was a recorded voice. I never got a name of the company.

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever had to deal with.  They call the dental office I work for more than 8 times a day.  This has to stop!!  Why can't they be shut down.  They are going to cost people their job's if they don't dtop calling their work

I GET THE CALL FROM 1-410-844-5611! SO WHEN I CALL BACK IT HANGS UP OR TELLS ME THAT THIS NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED AND NO LONGER IN SERVICE! WHAT KIND OF SWITCH DO THEY HAVE SO I CAN GET ONE!

I receive calls from the number up to 5 times a day.  Please let me know how to stop the calls.
