Got an automated call today from Optimum Health on behalf of United Health. They wanted to find out if the call to me. Curious I answered"yes." Then the call asked for zip code and year of birth. That's when I hung up and said "too risky". This information could be used for identify theft. I also have not been a part of United Health for over 2 years!

Hey United Health, if you want my info, try me as one of your insured! And send a letter!

Ya know, if all they wanted was an evaluation of the physician without any link to the individual that gave the evaluation, I would have agreed to provide the info. I don't trust insurance companies because they're always trying to save money the wrong way. I could see the insurance company trying to suggest a new physician if  they thought it would save them money. Like they need to save so much money. Each time I drive by an insurance building I grumble and say, "now I see why they need so much money... look at that building."

My doctor is great! He has a nice personality and is easy to talk with. He's been my Dr. for nearly 11 years and I wouldn't want to see anyone else.

Today I received a call from this number. The caller ID shows that it was United Heath Group. The call was automated and wanted me to answer questions to grade my physician. So, what do they need this info. for? Maybe so they can try to suggest someone else for me that is more cost effective. My doctor is great. He's a renal physician (specialist.) He's the best Dr. I've ever been seen by. He's been my Dr. for nearly 10 years (I have a kidney transplant.) If I didn't like him I would see someone else. The kick in the eye about this whole thing is that I don't even have United Health Care insurance. O_O I did for the previous 3 years, but not this year. They're trying to save themselves money and all they do is spend money on non-important stuff. Last year they harrassed my husband through the snail mail by informing him he needed this test and that test. O_O WHAT? My husbnd had already had the tests. The insurance company can't even keep good enough records on the covered indivuals and what's been paid and for what. An insurance company need not tell me what test I need and what medicine I will take. They get an enormous amount of money from us in the form of premiums. They need to provide coverage, nothing else!

From my health insurance provider... They want my fat a** to work out so they don't have to pay out as much on my claims.  Screw that!  I'm an American.  I am free to be as fat as I want!

Now leave me alone and pay for the drugs the pharmaceutical companies want me to take to make "the world go 'round' already..
