Have at it, if you want your number sold (or worse) to every scammer known to man.  But, don't be asking me to do it!  LOL!

Has any one hit #1 to see what happends ? What are your feelings on me doing this just to see? Maybe ask them what there address is and i will come pick it up from them. So sick of them calling my mom and trying to scam her . Just want to grab them and choke them out once or twice <-----grin

I get SO many calls from this number, they said they keep trying to call me for medical, Help, I've fallen and I can't get up, and that it's been paid for by a relative, friend, and that they want to set up delivery..at no cost to me!
A $3,000 gadget.....sure they do! None of my family members purchased this! Such scammers out there! Be careful, thank goodness for caller ID! Next, I'm blocking the number, which I do most numbers anyway  now.

I've received dozens of calls like this, maybe different numbers, but the same recorded message.
It's always the "delivery department" trying to deliver the "medic alert system" that I did not order.

The only purpose in the medic alert for seniors scammer's calls to us, is to to get our credit card numbers, so they can cheat us!

THis is another medical alert scam.  Have reported it to the Federal Trade Commission.  Blocked the number on my FIOS account, but this company invents new numbers every day!  I wish the FTC could do something about this.  Some senior citizens probably respond and think they are getting something for free.  What a scam.  They should be ashamed of themselves !!!

All you need to do is get a Google Voice number. It's simple and it allows you to block as many as you want.

These folk called me and they said, "This a call to confirm you are getting the medical alert system.  You know the kind, ":I fallen and I can't get up."  I hung up.   Its a sad state of affairs when you get robocalls to your cell.

I've taken my recorder off my phone because these calls, and this one in particular, were getting ridiculous.  Why they call here, what list they got my number from I have no idea.  I have no reason to want their offer.

Just called. I didn't answer. We get several calls a day from the Medical Alert folk. They come from different numbers, different area codes. It's getting old. Like others, Verizon only gives ten blocks which to me is pretty much useless.

Senior Citizen Scam

We received this same call last week.... I told them we didn't order it and hung up on them!!!!! I am sooooo tired of getting stupid phone calls from people/companies we don't know of, didn't solicit ourselves, and scammers.  So much for the do not call registry... it doesn't help at all!!!!!

This phone #410-864-0217 if supposedly from a medical supply company wanting to deliver a medic alert as seen on TV.

I keep getting calls from this number.  I never answer since I don't recognize the number.

The same tape recording as the one described by Jim in Maryland: $3000 grocery savings plus a medical alert device. I hav no idea who is making these calls and why.

Unfortunately all you did was verify they have a live number. They will continue to call, and possibly more so from all their various numbers.

Received the same call as Jim in Maryland earlier this morning.  Don't know if it works but listened to the message and the hit "5" to be taken off the list to be called in the future....hopefully no more calls like this.

In a moment of weakness, I answered because of the 410 area code and I had not received a call from this number previously.  Got a woman's voice recording about qualifying for $3,000 in grocery coupone plus a free medical alert bracelet.  Probably the most common phone scam in operation.  Occasionally, a message is left.  I've received similar calls, mostly from California, New York, and Maryland.  Interesting how the few instances of a message being left, it was a recording of the same man, "John in the shipping department," from numbers all over California and Nevada.  Is there a network of these scammers who use the same pre-recorded message?

They have called me a few times today and yesterday...i will have to do the thing as FWPhoto...but my 10 numbers are already taken up will have to take one off to put this one on..wish we could have unlimited numbers put on that list instead of just 10,lol.

I was just thinking about it more. Back to women thing. It is close to Xmas. I believe that the X in Xmas stands for your X's. With that in mind, This is gold digging w***es awareness month. Women that would not have talked to you all year long will approach you for a short term relationship just to get an Xmas present.

I just looked at another website and they say it was from Senior assistance. I almost forgot how telemarketer prey upon the elderly. They just watch us like hawks. Isn't that a little bit psycho? Keeping up with other people's birthdays just to find out which ones are close to retirement?

same here, but I didn't call them back. It said Baltimore,MD which is close to where I live so I almost did call it back until I came here and found out it's a phantom caller lol. It almost looked like one of my exes probably looking to do round two on my heart. She probably  hasn't hurt anyone in awhile and figures that I'm fair game. That's what we are men. In the game of life women are the hunters and we are the deer. Once they get fed they move onto another deer. But that's probably just my crazy thoughts coming out again. It's still entertaining though.

Nice...they just called again for the 3-4x.  I changed the name in the 'phone book' so now it says 'scam don't pick up' lol.  I guess nomorobo won't block this one either.  It's good for some numbers but not others.  I went ahead and wasted another precious spot on the 10 number block allotment on FiOS digital voice.  Found these links about it online this morning.  We can't make them stop but we should probably warm every senior citizen we know and have them pass it along to others.  :(
