Same deal, they called my number and hung up. An old girl friend? Could be interesting. I called this number back to find out who they are. It is a Verizon telemarketing number unclear on the concept of telephone sales: you are supposed to speak with the person on the other end, not hang up on them. Gotta love it.

Hey, Let's speculate.
Maybe they're like parking police. They don't get a commission for the tickets they write, but if they F2don't meet their quota, they get demoted to dogcatcher/sewer inspector. Maybe this Verizon person has to meet a certain quota of connected calls. And they were too tired or too hoarse or mad at their boss or...

They call daily at various times of the day. As soon as i see the number and "Verizon" on my caller ID, I do not answer and never will. Eat me, Verizon.

At 8:10p.m on 09/29/08, caller I.D.rang saying "Verizon". Assuming it was someone's cell phone,I picked up.After I said "HeLLo", they hung up without saying anything.

Received a call 2 days in a row from this number, the first i wasn't home so a message was left by a automated machine announcing a new verizon FIOS option. The second day i answered and got no response from the caller.
