one thing i noticed about that person with that thick accent is that it's a different name every time they call, but it sounds like the same person with the same threats.  Earlier i got a call from a Jacksonville, FL number.  I'm surprised these callers haven't been arrested yet for trying to fraud people out of their money.  I could tell something wasn't right cause i never got a summons in the mail from this scam company

They have called several times and didn't leave a message.  They finally left a threatening message stating I owed 495.  Next threatening message stated 595 and they used a different company name.  Thick accents but with American names??????I don't think so.

Received a call today. Thick accent.  Rude and bossy!  I hope they never get money out of anyone!  Same story as what others has posted.  I saved the message so if the law enforcement needs access to it they can listen.

These people are pathetic!! They call me about every 3 months. They have common names like Jeff Martin, yet they can hardly speak English. They are very annoying, calling my cell phone and work phone. I just yell back at them and let them know we are on to them and they should just give up. Last year one of them was yelling back at me saying "maybe you should take my _ _ _ _ in your mouth to pay back money". I just laughed and hung up. I have even blown a whistle in the phone when I see the number. George B is correct though, they have numerous numbers so it's hard to tell if it is them until you answer it.

i got a call from this number from a man with a strong accent, saying that i'm being sued on my ssn for a loan i never made in september 2009.  i hung up on him, he called back twice.  he gave me no details as to how much the loan was for and wouldn't give me the number to the loan company he said was suing me.  that's how i could tell it was a scam

Recieved several calls from 412-246-1514.  The voice mail was a male with a strong accent leaving a threatening message.  I am on the do not call list and this continues.

Just go to your telephone company web site and BLOCK the offending number, so it will not be able to come thru.
But that's nothing permanent, because those Caller ID spoofers use a number for one day or so, then start to use some other number. The numbers they use are abandoned numbers, not yet reassigned by the telephone companies.

Bottom line: IGNORE IT and never give the other side ANY information. PERIOD!

Well if they called your work # then send them a bill. Then when they don't pay the bill, send it to a collections agency. Anytime someone calls my work number I inform them right away that rates are 120$ up front then 40$/hr for phone consultation,  and then I just bill them for my time as I would any other client using whatever address they tell me to send the money to. Since I run a consulting business and those are my actual published rates it works great. They go to their PO box thinking they'll get my money, and instead they get a bill for my time. They never pay up, and I always send it to my usual bloodthirsty collection agent (same firm my local LendingTree uses, if you ask at your local payday scam hut they'll be able to hook you up with a real b*****d of a collection agency, so far I've gotten about 600 in the last 20 years of doing this)

Now calling me in Michigan with a strong accent saying they are the police department and need to call them back and they have my social sec number.  DO NOT CALL THEM BACK. TOTAL SCAM.

I received numerous phone calls today 9/8/11. He said his name was Patrick Gibson but  he had a strong accent. He threatened to keep calling my job phone to get me fired if i dont pay any money. I contacted the State Attorney General Office and she advised this is a nationwide scam. My department chief called this number back and the same person answered but said his name was James Anderson this time.

i recieved a threatening phonecall from this company from a indian with a strong accent sayin that i owe 500.00 on a loan i never got he cursed me out told me to go to hell.but i called the police and i called the guy back and told him i called the ploice which i did and i havent heard from hinm since this happened this morning hes a flea bag and dosent deserve to be in this country.the officer called me back and said he cursed him out as well.

Has called my job 35 times in 20 minutes claiming to be from ACE foreign accent threatening me that I would lose my job. I called company and they verified its not a verified number and to ignore. But I called my lawyer instead to make them stop calling my job because ACE will not get paid if these people are calling on behalf of them. Samething person with strong accent says i have a lawsuit filed against my ssn.

Person with strong Indian accent, left voicemail stating there was a lawsuit filed against my ssn. Had a similar call before from a different number. This is a scam

Indian person stated that they were ATF and that there was a law suit against my Social Security number.

Received a 2 calls from this number. They left a voice mail and had strong accent. Threating voice mail was left. My number is on a do not call list, but that is not working.

Calls and hangs up.
