I called this number back and the machine said the number was non-working.

I was called from this number a few times and I finaly spoke to one of their people. They called about the job I applied for with At&t. They told me the manager would contact me if they were interested in hiring me. i didn't hear anything back for awhile. I then received a call from a Fernando who interviewed me over the phone. He was more informative then the girl I spoke to the first time. About 1 month later I got another call from Fernando and he said they wanted to hire me. It was lengthy process but I got the job.

This is a legitimate company.  I called them back and talked to a guy who led me through a verification process (phone number address etc...)  They did not ask for any crazy stuff like credit card number, account numbers or personal ID stuff.

They didn’t tell me where the job was located, but said it was in my area.  The guy told me after I finished the verification that I would soon receive a phone call for an interview.  It took the company almost a week to get back to me.  Sounds good to me…

I was surprised when this company called me.  I have been applying online for a while.  The process seemed weird, but it worked.

The recorded voice said to call back to 415-376-0885.  There's a '5' instead of a '2' in the area code.  I did apply for a job for an anonymous employer posted on Craigslist (only applied to get additional info, still no info).  Tried calling the 415 number and was on hold for over 10 minutes before I hung up.

Same thing happened to me. I got a call at 9:35 AM, but I let it got to voice mail. I now do not plan on calling back!
I guess it's because I've submitted resumes to some places..

Being an out of state number I let it go to voice mail but did no one left a message. Sounds like I made the right move after reading the postings on this site.

Just had them call me too - same situation as everyone else.

The Same number called me, and when i called it back it said I had reached a incorrect number.

Called me about 10 minutes ago..think it's something to do with resumes I've posted recently. I think it's spam or something.

Same deal, said I had submitted a resume and to call back when I was in front of a computer. Maybe so I could see it was completely bogus. Like spam on your phone!

Called me today Dec 4th 2008 at 2:59 pm Centeral Time. I picked up the line was quite. I hung up and called them back and it said the number was not in service.

Called me and said I applied for a job but the company was staying anonymous until you call this number for an interview.  Tried calling back and not a working #.  I don't know.  Don't think I applied for job.

keep getting calls on my cell from this number but no messages left - don't recognize it - no caller id

I forgot to mention above that I've also recently applied for a job at FedEx, which I noticed some people had mentioned above.

So maybe it's either something with FedEx, or http://career-network.com ...?

A few days later I got a call from this number but missed it, they left no voicemail. Haven't heard from them again.

I do agree, http://career-network.com seems pretty fishy, like some kind of scam.

Responding to a craigslist job, I was redirected to a bogus website that said it was connected to http://career-network.com/.

After taking my info (including the phone number they called me at) they asked me several questions in an attempt to get me to agree to get their spam.  The whole thing was shady.

And what do you know? within a few days I get this shady phone call you all got.  I didn't call, I googled the number and found this.  

If your looking for a job and come across any crappy/simple looking job sites that say they are connected to the http://career-network.com/ then DO NOT TRUST THEM.

(for example, the website was called http://thegreat-jobhunt.com and it no longer exists.  It redirects to career-network.com.  The whole thing is some kind of scam.

Same thing...received a phone call while I was in class and unable to answer.  The caller did not leave a message.
