They call our business on the emergency-only line, after hours, when the office is closed and ask for someone who was fired for stealing15 years ago!
One of their grads?

It is fund raising time so they keep calling.

Lighten up a little. If you don't agree why don't you start your own college and see if everyone thinks your decisions make sense or do you just like to bi*** about what oth
ers do.

It isn't Point Park - I called it back and the message says, "You've reached Point Park University. If you are calling this number from a missed number in your Called ID, we cannot tell you who has actually been calling you." Sounds like a common problem for them, but probably isn't them. Is Kevin Mitnick at it again?

I went there also. What they don't tell you is that they do not have job placement. But they want a donation! LOL! They even tried to get me to buy a brick on their Walk of Shame or whatever they were dedicating it to.

Well I got 2 degrees from UPP.. Criminal Justice and MBA.... Applied many times for open jobs at the school and never once even received a reply to my resumes. They'll educate us.. but don't want to hire us?

I also found this number on my missed calls. I know it's not Point Park University, otherwise when I Googled it the Point Park site would have been one of the first results. Don't know for sure but could be the "rejection hotline" for the Allegheny County area code (yes this does exist). If someone is asked for their number but they don't want to give it out, they may give out this number as a prank. There is supposed to be one for almost every area code, as one would not as easily fall for a 1-800 number. The operator of this number could possibly have decided not to leave it to answer machine and start making outgoing calls? I hear there are ways you can edit your caller ID to say anything from ALCOA to Pittsburgh Naval Recruiting Station. The operators of rejection hotlines often have nothing legitimate to do with their spare time and start prank calling people. Also, when I texted back, Verizon said it was a landline

This is in fact Point Park University. I have received legitimate phone calls from the university from this number, and not ones asking for money.

I have been called several times from this number. The caller ID comes up as "Pittsburgh, PA". I have gotten alumni solicitations for donations from Point Park University, but the caller ID comes up as "Point Park University". Could be ligit, could be a scam. I just don't answer those calls .....

Someone from point park university called my phone at 7:pm on a Sunday night. They didn't say who they were and did not answer when asked what they were calling for.

Caller ID says "Unknown". They left no message and I won't answer calls from people I do not know or who are listed as "Unknown".

It is Point Park asking for money. They raise tuition every year and want a donation? What the hell are they doing for students now, nothing. They worry about the expansion when none of us will be there.

Ya, they called me also, I was not pleased because I didn't know who was calling my home phone
