I keep getting calls from the same number. Instead of 'service call' caller ID identifies it as  'Pest 316548945564 2159465'    seems apropo and obviously I don't answer.

Pick up phone, no one says anything, hangs up, then the line is busy the rest of the day

Called me repeatedly.

This number has called the company where I work several times.  Each time they hang up.  This is very annoying.  We have too much work to do to have people playing on the phones.  What can be done to stop these people and several others like them?

Some woman called the company I work for and on the other end of the line asks, "How are you today?" and I said "Okay" and then she asks if I'm the owner and I said that I wasn't, then she asks "Is the owner there?" and I said "No" and she hung up on me.  Very rude!  What is even more strange is that our Caller ID registers 412-430-5549 with a name of "Not In Use".  I mean, really, do they honestly think I'm that gullible???

Interesting ANI data from this number.  It was listed as NOT IN SERVICE.  They left no message on answering machine.  Put them on my Panasonic list of 250 blocked numbers because my Digitione Call Blocker's blocked list of 80 different area codes is FULL.

Come on Digitone, get that new machine out there that can block 250 area codes.  I can't wait to get one.

BUY A CALL BLOCKER - NO MORE WORRIES!!!

These idiots are not only blocked, I have BLOCKED THE ENTIRE 412 AREA CODE!!!

We have the Digitone blocker on our office phone system.  The Digitone Blocker can block individual phone numbers and it can BLOCK ENTIRE AREA CODES!

Currently, we have 45 area codes blocked.  

The Digitone can block 80 area codes and 80 phone numbers.  BizingA!

I keep getting calls from these people asking for the owner and then hanging up- This time the called ID showed "not in use"- I am sick and tired of getting these calls

id says no in service okay what does that mean????  no message left

When this call came in, I didn't answer it, but the strangest thing, it said on the ID service right under the phone number - NOT IN USE.  They left no message.

Calls and ask for owner every day.

they call and ask for the owner and when i inform them i'm the manager they hang up without even having the courtesy to say goodbye.

Call from 1-412-430-5549 with a Caller ID reading SERVICE1CALL.

She is greeted with our company greeting, she then responds with "Can I speak with the Owner" We asked
"What is this in regards to?" She immediately responds with an irritated sound in her voice "ITS THE BANK!" We respond, "With which bank?" she responds with "ELITE BANK!"
At this point we know we have no business with this bank, and we tell her that we don't know any name of bank by that name, and we don't like Fraudulent calls at our business.
She hangs up after this.

This company is obviously soliciting some kind of unwanted business.

Are you the owner? I said no, he is on the phone, can I take a message? Then they hung up. I AM SO SICK OF THESE CALLS. We get multiple calls daily. Who actually buys what they are selling? They must be profitable in some way if they keep it up. I report all of these numbers and nothing is helping.

CallerID indicates "SERVICE1CALL".  Didn't answer since number is clearly not local.  Caller left no voice message.

Records above indicate worthy of a permanent block, since we're a "do not call" participant and they're stupid enough to violate that.

These types of calls are ALL VIOLATIONS. The problem is that FCC doesn't enforce its rules, shut them down and levy a heavy fine! Hence, we are reduced to discovering 800-notes and telling each other about these stupid calls.

Too bad the FCC doesn't read 800notes.

"Kate" called our business, asked to speak with the owner and when I said no, she hung up. I dialed the number back, and it rings with no answer. The caller ID said "Service1Call", so clearly a scam, as others have reported a different name on their caller ID.

I receive 2 or 3 of these calls almost daily. I work in a home office for a company out of state. The number (412) 430-5549 just called. It was a robo-call so I hung up before getting any information, however, it had to do with money or loans for the company I work for.

If an actual person answers, they always ask for the owner. Most are robo-calls and I hang up immediately. If you get a call with no one there, if you say hello or speak then someone in the 'boiler room' will typically pick up. Don't say anything, just hang up.

I'm also on the Do Not Call registry and do not want these bozos calling me. I guess the system doesn't work anymore because I'm just getting bombarded. Being in sales and it's hard not to answer a call. I wish there was a way to stop all of the solicitations.

Just got the same call. A guy asking for the owner. Do not give you information to these callers.

Got call from this number at 10 AM on our business phone line. Caller ID said Service Call. RIght away, don't bother to answer. Getting more and more obnoxious phone spam but am also ignoring phone calls more often. If it don't ring a bell then don't answer. Look phone number up on Google. If it happens to be a "good" caller, then call them back.

There is no Do Not Call List / Laws that cover businesses... That is only for Residential Phones... However any good call center would respect a business owners wishes and not call them back.

Got a call from this number. After reading the above comments I am glad no one said anything when I answered. We get these calls from time to time. Always a call, and then no one says anything. It's quite annoying, especially during a rush. (Coffee shop.)

This is a sophisticated system that calls.  You think that the person calling is real, but it is not.  It knows the word no and yes and other specialty words.

Just received a call from Kate at " Elite Bank"; asking for the owner several time, I guess I annoyed her, because I kept on asking her , For? For? For?.... She hung up.

I have now received a few calls from this number.  Since I don't know the caller, he/she calls while I am at work, and the number has appeared on multiple lists of this type, I have yet to answer.  No message is ever left.  My number has been on the do not call list for awhile and has been updated for the listing within the past 6 months or so.

Well, I actually talked to Kate and she stated the call was regarding a cash flow loan for my business use. When I told her I didn't need a loan, she stated that there were other financial services that she could access. When I asked what company she was with, she stuttered  and was told to remove me from her call list.
