Yeah I just got the same texts/replies. Kinda freaky. I'm done replying to them, definitely spam. I wonder how they got ahold of our numbers.

I would agree, would defintatly think it is spam.  I got the same text about an hour ago.  Will not respond.

Yeah I got the same text. It said "hi [my name]" and when I asked who it was, they said their android was about to die and said to add them on yahoo messenger at "txtchick20." I definitely think it's spam if other people are getting it.

This is bizarre. I got a message from this number and another in the same day, both saying "hey patricia." they both asked me to download y! messenger

Got a message from this number saying "Hola Andrea!!!"  I texted back "Who is this?"

Never got a response.

I got a message from random area code saying hola and my name. So did my brother and my boyfriends mom. My brother does not have a facebook or number attached to facebook. I texted back asking who it was and no answer. So I called the number and the number was some texting app. Iam worried my info on my phone was hacked. I live in seattle. I heard this was on the news but I did not see it. A lot of people r getting these messages in seattle.

Me too. Hello Judd? Oddly, today, Facebook told me someone tried to access my account. Maybe unrelated but just too weird.

Spam. I think it queries facebook with random numbers until it comes up with a match. At that point it reads the name and sends the message with your name and a spam message.

got a text that just said hi ******* (my name) reponded then got another text that told me if i want to find out who this is i should add them on yahoo and some name or other. Who is this?!? it freaks me out that they knew my first name.

"Who is this?" I did get a response it told me to check my Y Messenger

Just got a 2-word text message from this number.  All it said was Hi Billie.  Am still waiting to see if I get a response.
