We received the same letter in the same type of envelope.  Could be a company involved with flipping houses.

My uncle received a letter from a woman named Lisa Fine asking to $BUY$ his house, and asking him to call her at 412-455-6887.  The letter was on yellow legal notepad paper in red ink.  It appeared handwritten in marker ink at first, but if you looked at it closely, you could see it was printer ink.  There was no real estate company name on the letter, nor was it on the small envelope it came in.  There was an address listed on the back on a label with picture of a smiley-faced sun- 3567 Mountain View Drive #116, Pittsburgh, PA  15122.

My uncle showed me the letter, and asked me to do an Internet search on this person.  So with only the name Laura Fine, the phone number and the address, I began an extensive search.

I came up with a company website buyapittsburghhouse.com.  This site revealed their company name (PKJ Properties, LLC), their address which matches the address exactly on the back of the envelope, Dave Gottlieb (company owner's name), his email dgottlieb@pkjproperties.com, his phone # 412-357-5000, his fax # 412-200-7617, and Laura Fine's email lfine@pkjproperties.com, and another one of her phone #'s 412-499-3808.  I also managed to find their Facebook pages, in which they listed each other as their friend.

I would be very leery of this company.  It appears to be a scam to me. If anyone receives a call from any of the phone numbers listed here, I would not give them any information.  If they are a scammer, they can use that information to steal your identity, then steal your house and leave you with the mortgage. I wouldn't trust any property mgmt company that operates having someone from their company pose as a potential buyer by sending out mass mailings of a yellow letter that appears personalized and handwritten.  This just reeks of a scam.
