They called Nov 20th at 2:56, 2:43, 2:31, 2:21, 2:08pm
They called Nov 19th at 9:14 9:34am
They called Nov 18th at 10:26, 10:10 am

I have explained to them that they have the wrong number yet they continue to call saying that the person who had the number before us died and owes them money. I work 5pm until 5am and don't like the calls while I am trying to sleep.

This company is continually calling my number.  Have any of you guys had an luck as far as finding a resolution to this?

it wont stop. 3 or 4 times a day 7 days a week

I found out the company attatched to this # is CBCS they are a collection company, in my case for a local hospital

got a few calls from them today, didnt answer cause i didnt know the number. but after reading this i wont answer; ever.

AFTER CALLING ME ONCE AND I ANSWERED THE INCOMING CALL, THE CALLER HUNG-UP. THEN I MUST HAVE RECEIVED THREE ADDITIONAL CALLS WITHIN A 45 MINUTE PERIOD.

Called me and hung-up as soon as I answered the incoming call.

I started receiving calls from CBCS today.  After a few calls, I called the number back wondering who it was. First- I spoke to a man (maybe Carl or Greg) and he refused to give out any info only asking me for mine. I'm wondering how a legit company does not have caller id and needs to ask for my number. After reading these posts I called back and spoke to a woman. After speaking with her I kind of made her feel like I would be cooperative w/o giving any of my info and she gave me two addresses.  One is a PO Box in Columbus, Oh and I told her I needed a physical address as I knew she was calling from Pittsburgh.  PO Box 164059 Columbus, Oh 43216 and the Pittsburgh address supposedly is 875 Green Tree Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15220 Bldg 8. Then she wanted more info from me stating that she gave me their info so it's only fair.  I told her if this is a legit business then I need answers and it is NOT the same as calling her on her cell and asking personal questions as they did to me. Then she got frazzeled and put on the supervisor (same guy who I spoke with before) who was extremely rude. I also have no outstanding debt. My credit is excellent. Sounds like a scam! I just got a call from them wanting me to verify my ss# no. and I told them I wouldn't until they tell me what they are calling for.  She repeatedly said that she needs verification before telling me.  I said that they aren't getting any information from me till they tell me what they are calling for. and she hung up

This company keeps calling about money I supposedly owe to a hospital. They also tell me they accept Mastercard or Visa. I thought debt collection agencies couldn't accept credit cards? Other valid companies will not accept CC's. It's got to be a scam.

These people are crazy. They are calling about sme debt from 9 years ago that I have no idea about. They said they don't care if I don't anything  about it, just pay it. They accept Mastercard and visa. I told them never to call me again. They are asking for my social and address.
   If they call again, I am filing an FCC complaint for harassment.

I never visit this website but have been trying to find information on this number that continues to call me. I have a cell phone number that I never give to any one except for my friends and family.

Somehow, these guys have got my number and have called me non-stop for two weeks. They claim I have a debt too but I have no outstanding debt whatsoever.

I have recieved 15 calls from 412-503-4002 in the last week.  I am a person who works nights and have recieved calls during the week and as of today 22 Nov 08, I recieved 5 calls on the weekend.  They left a message stating that they are CBCS Collection Agency.  I am on the National Do Not Call Registry and unsure of how they recieved my cell phone number.  After the first time they called and I missed the call, I called them back and told them that the person that they were looking for no longer owned my number.  They told me that they my number would be removed from their call log and since then I have recieved 14 more calls.  If there is something that can be done, please let me know.

I keep getting calls for people who I don't know and who obviously aren't living in my home. This is the newest number in a list of calls I get for two different names. They must have had my same number before I moved here, but it's been two years now. You'd think they would know better by now.

This really pissed me off especially since they were asking for someone who died 8 years ago (1999), attempting to claim that a bill was from 2001.

I will file charges if I get one more phone call.

If the law doesn't work, I'll pursue other measures.

Got a few calls from them...asking about my son. Just as I am writing tis email..got another one in. I just told that guy that I am actuallt looking at the website...and after I hang up with him I will call the police. He said ok...and then he hung up.

I get at least three phone calls from them monday-friday, they never call me on the weekends, I have answered one time and they are looking for someone else, I told them they had the wrong number, I no longer answer their phone calls but I do want it to stop. any suggestions??

I have been getting calls from this number at least twice a day for about two months. I only answered once and when I did the guy said his name was Greg and he was looking for my mother in-law. When I said she wasn't available and could I take a message, he said he was a debt collector and that she owed him money. Then he asked if I had her cell phone number. I told him yes I did, but he couldn't have it. He then became very angry and rude, asking who I was and if I was screening her calls. I hung up and have not picked up the phone when the number has called since. What a crock, my mother in-law doesn't owe any money. She doesn't even owe any money on her house or car. I think it is a shame that people like this guy get away with preying on innocent people.

I have received numerous calls from this number. They hang up when I answer. I now no longer answer their calls. This is harrassment and I will report this to the phone company

I've been getting several calls from this number every day for the past week or two. I've never answered and after reading the comments above, I don't think I ever will.

This number calls my cell phone repeatedly - bodering on harrassment.  After phoneing me 3 times in 40 mintutes when I was at work I thought it was an emergency and phoned the number back.  I was immediately told I was being recorded.  Then I was asked what number I was calling from.  The calls started again yesterday evening, often not letting the phone ring long enough for me to even get to it.

THey've been calling most everyday, several times a day for a long time.  Yesterday, they called 7 times, including 3 calls 30 minutes apart.

Also started getting calls a few weeks ago...when I answer the woman always says her name is Wanda and won't talk to anyone but the person they are calling for.  When I ask where they are calling from they give me some acronym (CSBC?) and when I ask questions they say "personal matter" and hang up.  I am going to stop answering the calls.

I've had this caller calling me for the past month.  I believe they started calling me from a private number and I mistakingly answered it the first time thinking it was a friend.  Then, they called me 3 times today within 10 minutes.  Isn't this harassment?  Screw them - I don't owe them anything.  Don't answer this number.

This morning, at marching rehearsal, this number called me three times within ten minutes.  I don't know about everyone else, but this caller is not only interrupting my rehearsal time but MAY be hacking into my phone.  How else would they know someone's name that I know? Be careful and DON'T answer this caller.

I actually called the number back and found they say their company name is "CBCS" I asked if they are a collections agency and was told "we don't like to discuss the nature of the business" The guy (named Gregg) then chuckled a bit which indicated I was right on the money when I figured that much out. I then asked them to remove my number as I do not know the person they have been asking for. He said he would be more than happy to remove my number.
