received call 10:45pm--caller ID said private name-i didn't answer it--left no message

received call 2:33 AM - caller id says "A Concerned Cit" - answered, but no one there.

We have been getting a HUGE amount of calls on our cell - all Brownsville, TX - the same thing on each call; no one there, they hang up.  All the phone numbers coming into our cell phone have the same Brownsville area code and some have the same prefix but most have different last four numbers.  I'm sure if I were a good spook I could figure this out.  I think since so many people are having the same problem and the same thing is going on with each call, there is something going on....WHAT WHAT????

Received call late morning and they hung up before I could answer.  I called back and I heard 3 tones and then a hang up.  I think it was star69. But they already have my number?? My number is blocked from caller ID and I didn't get a call back.

Office line received the same call from 956-504-2753 at 12am on a Saturday. No msg. was left. You can do a reverse lookup on any phone number for free on this site: http://www.whitepages.com/reverse-lookup. It won't always provide the identity, if it is an unpublished phone number, but it is a very useful tool. You can also type in any phone number on the search bar on Google.com (do not use dashes, but separate the phone number as such: 956 504 2753) and if there's anything tied to the number, you can view in the search results.

this number keeps calling me.... when i pick up, they listen then hang up. i call back then it's busy. when i get through it's like they are calling someone else...... extremely annoying!

Got about 6-7 calls from 956-504-2753 number on 2/22/08 - including my personal work number and other work numbers at our company. When I pick up, they listen for a moment, then hang up.

I'm glad this service exists. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with these calls.

answered but they hung up... busy when trying to call back

Received a call on my cell phone at 8:19am Thanksgiving morning.  Hung up before I got to it.  Tried to call back but got a busy signal.  my wife got a call on her cell phone from a different similar number (956)504-1097.

Received call at 2:40am. Answered..caller hung up...caller id: Private Caller. Very frightening to receive call in middle on the night...I thought someone I knew/cared about was in trouble/dead.

Received call at 1:25 am. No message, we didn't answer.
