It's Verizon calling about a late bill.  And believe me, you could be five minutes late and they would call , they are unbelievable.  I understand people shouldn't let their bills go but these people call if they don't receive the bill the very day it is due.  I guess they are having hard times, not making billions this year, need to hunker down on customers.

Verizon doesn't leave messages because they cannot be guaranteed they're reaching the right person, or that your phone wasn't stolen. I asked one of their agents once. If your phone was missing, would you want whoever stole it listening to your messages or answering your phone to find out you're behind on your bill? I wouldn't.

They called, and when I answered they hung up on me immediately.

Verizon wireless calling about a late payment. NO message left. I agree, they should know enough about phone etiquette to leave a message. I will pay my bill this week, but I don't return phone calls when NO message is left.

I just got a call from that number. No message left, an id didn't make any recent payments. Also I have never been involved with Verizon, I have comcast and cricket. However I put my apt. Up for sublet earlier this year, though there was no number attached. Glad i didn't answer the phone.

Got a call no msg left from this number but just 4 hours earlier than this call I had paid my bill yes it was late but I had just paid it so I don't know why they would call! Hmmm and the no msg is weird, I have had an issue last year I called the verizion 1800 number to activate my new phone. My call was hacked rerouted to a scam company who tried to get my credit card info for a free 100$ gift card supposedly from verizion due to the rerouted call. This company called themselves blue dolphin n said they were verizion promotions dept! So watch out for that!

Yes, it is indeed Verizon notifying me that my payment is late.  A simple message would've been nice.

Yes!! How about leaving a message. I got calls two days in a row and no message. Made me very upset.

They called my cell phone 3 times today and my home phone...the home phone isn't in my name either...no message left at either number.
