They've called my work number at least three times in two days, Pick it up, "loud" silence, then a click hangup.

Makes me wanna reach through the phone and choke them.

How do I stop them from contacting me!

They keep calling my work number.

After mush research, I called 866-349-7671. I thought that was the company calling me too. That company is north american business solutions. My lawyers and I have discovered that company IS NOT the company who has been calling all of us. The Canadian Merchat Association is a division of Merchant Cash Direct in Ontario and New Jersey. If you are getting calls from these people about faxing your statments to them, its definatly MCD or this so called Canadian Merchant Association. I spoke with the supervisor of the company at 8663497671, Mark. He was able to give me the correct contact info for the company that keeps callin me. You can call the same pone number and ask for the CMA OR MCD and they even tell you its the same company! How dumb are they? Aparently when you google the name of the company the keeps calling, that north american solutions site pops up in the first few links. We have since filed a suit against the correct company with the help of north american business solutions.

Twice or three times daily; disconnects when I answer; seems to be no way to stop this... any suggestions would be most welcome!

Does anyone know how to report this? is there anything I can do. I get hung up on several times a day. We have asked to be removed from the list a few times. A co-worker has yelled at them and they still call ALL the time! So annoying!!!

Sound pretty much like a lunatic scam.  She offered to reduce the debit & credit card rate; but first, she wanted to get our information on merchant statement, analyzed data, then get back to us within 24 hours.  DO NOT RELEASE ANY DATA TO THEM.

Ben getting calls too, with just silence.... it's been a few times today already ...someone certainly has a lot of time to waste !

I had a call from this number recently .. the fellow calling had a weird voice and soundd like he was breathing Helium ...

When I told him this he hung up ...now he has been callng back 6 times a day and hanging up on me when I pick up the phone.

There's a lesson here somewhere :)

Every day at noon & 4pm & 5pm this number calls us.  It is Canadian Media Company whatever that is.  We are going to try & not answer it but it sure is annoying.

I haven't been answering the calls because it comes from a strange area code. I get about 2 or 3 calls a day from that number. I thought I'd Google the number to see if it's important. I know now not to bother answering. Thanks!

Same, same but now it is a woman calling that giggles like a little school girl every time I say something to her.

I told them the exact same thing that I am happy with my rates and dont want their service. Again I agree that their accents are so heavy how do you understand them!!  All I say now is take me off your list and never call again and hang up. Most of the time the numer comes up private caller to but it is the same guy argh!!

I found your post very interesting!! I am an owner of a store that these guys have been pestering incesantly!!! I yelled at the guy so loud one day to take me off his list and never call again ( which he did 2 days later!!!) that I went next door to see if they heard me. He doesnt know what the words never call again and take me off your list mean!!

Me too! They call 4 times a day and there is nobody there.

Calls come through from this number at least once a day, usually at the worst possible moment.  There is never anyone there -- just silence.  From what I have read, I guess I am lucky that I don't have to deal with the caller.

We have just got a call today at our store saying we had problems with our debit transactions. When I called my provider they told me they had not problem.
They called from 854-789-6521.
Guy identified himself as Daniel Anderson.

I have been getting these phone calls at my home residence. I find this very irritating and I would like to know how to stop getting these phone calls!

I have also been getting calls from 854-789-6521 the last few weeks.  Every time I answer, I end up with a dial tone (at least I don't have to deal with their sales pitch).  The phone company says that they can't do anything to help, so if anyone is able to get a telephone number for Canadian Merchant Group that we can get through, let's start calling them back and plugging up their lines.  Heck, does one of their employees want to buy a bar-b-que...how about a spa package??

This company has been calling me as well .. I keep telling them i'm satisfied with my Interac/Visa/MC fees .. that if I wasn't satisfied I would do something about it
The guy that always call is really pushy .. the only way to shut him up is to hang up on him .. I can barely make out what he his saying with his accent
They call at least once a week .. they keep telling me it's the first time they call here .. ya right!!! By now they have my name and they know which bank I deal with .. I asked them to tell me what rate I should be paying but they say they need to see my statements to tell me ..

This company calls me daily but as soon as I answer, the obviously computer generated system disconnects me. This has been going on for weeks and is completely pointless. If they ever do speak, I certainly will have no interest in whatever they are promoting. What a stupid way to market anything.

This company called, and hung up on me.

I work for at a small branch that is part of a large corporation. When these people started calling here I was very polite and advised them that because we are a corporation we cannot make decisions like that at store level. I gave the same guy the number for head office multiple times. Now when they call they hang up when i start my greeting. At one point I called the number back and left a message stating that we were too busy to be running to the phone pnly to be hung up on and if they were going to continue to call to at least have the decency to stay on the line so I can again explain who they need to be speaking to. I recieved a call back from a woman who said she was the floor manager and that she would make sure we were not called again. Weeks went by and now all of a sudden they are calling again multiple times a day. They are now calling from a different number (1-854-789-6521) which I cannot call out to. I tried calling some of the old numbers they called me from and that I see listed on this site however none of them are in service.Companies like these just move and get new numbers when they get shut down. I will be reporting them. As for those people on here claiming to be employees, you are either fake or so gullible that the company has fed you lies to cover up what they are using you for and you beleive them. I have known people who worked making calls for companies they thought were legit and later the owners are arrested and they're stuck jobless and without a final paycheck so, that's probably what you are in for if you work for this company. Regardless, scam or not. Learn how to disposition your calls properly. If someone tells you there is no one authorized to make decisions at this number how is it beneficial to you to keep calling, and how are you going to gain clients by hanging up on people. Only thing I can think is that you do not value your job and not only is your company trying to scam people but you are scamming your company by allowing them to pay you for doing a piss poor job.
